Good day at Verizon with tech guru, Lance on 2701 Vets, Kenner, La. I walked in with my S10 that had decided not to make or receive phone calls. I tried everything on my own and then lucked out w/ Lance at Verizon store. Hw patiently tried everything he could, working doggedly until we finally had full service again. On his own and thru 2 tech support folks, he kept a great positive attitude, tech savvy, polite and professional throughout. Bravo to Lance and Verizon for employing him!! Give that man a raise!!!

I would not recommend anyone visit this Verizon location. I went in there to upgrade my iPhone and saw that all of the salespeople were helping other customers so I decided to look at phone cases until someone became free. Well, eventually 2 of them did at this point and the lady sales-rep that I was closest to shot me a glance then sat down and started playing on her respective phone without so much as acknowledging me at all. By this time it's been about 10 minutes or so. I really feel like I could have walked around that store for an hour before I received any assistance. I'm just going to do everything I need to from the Verizon app. It's just par for the course from what I've learned about how the people are here in the New Orleans area. LOL

Needed a new phone, made an appointment for 1pm on a weekday. It was 1:50 before I actually got to speak to an employee who could help me. A woman whose name tag said she was a manager informed me that she wasn't able to do what I needed, why can't a manager do more than an associate? And why have the ability to make an appointment when it clearly means nothing? She was aimlessly walking around the store, doing very little.During the 50 minute wait, I was forced to listen to Christmas music on blast. Why is someone else's religion being forced on me? I was told it was a corporate requirement and they turned the music up even louder. Deiveon was great, the rest of my experience was subpar. Isn't customer service supposed to be what Verizon is good at?

TERRIBLE customer service. Margarita flatly refused to pull up my account and check whether I was going to be charged for a phone I was returning. That was all she had to do, so I could know whether my bank account was about to be drained of $1k+, and she would not check it but suggested I go to FedEx and work it out with them. FedEx would have no way to know that and the return label was for UPS anyway. We've been Verizon customers for nearly 20 years but I'm checking into other companies now.

Verizon is trying to extort money from me and I don’t even have an account with them. I have been on the phone with at least a dozen people and no one will help me. I don’t know how they can get away with this. One guy at the store who was wonderful, he tried helping me and he couldn’t find anybody to help either. If you are thinking about going with Verizon , think again.

Negative: Verizon's inability to efficiently solve our problem.Positive: Store and Staff were extremely helpful in getting our situation sorted.Ordered phones online and told to pick up at another store in an inconvenient location. They don't have our orders and tell us that they will be shipped. 3 weeks pass and no phones. We did not want the phones anymore. After 2 calls and a total of 5 hours on the phone with Verizon, they told me they cancelled the order but the order was still on my account. Once they charged me on my bill, I went to this Verizon store to fix Verizon's recurring issue. Binta helped us out and was amazing at getting out situation handled. She spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon support with us and without her help, we would still be dealing with the problem.

These two ladies working there on Friday morning 8/18/23 we’re not friendly at all, and one even snapped at an elderly woman. It is already stressful enough dealing with Verizon over the phone, and then we’re told to go to the stores and to be treated this way. I was very kind and appreciated her help with a phone that I needed activated, but a little enthusiasm goes a long way. When we are ready to buy our next phone we will not go here.

One can't even call the store directly to ask a simple question. Something that should take a total of about 2 minutes now takes unnecessarily long. If I wanted to connect to an 800 number and put in my account number to ask a specific Verizon location a simple question, I'd call it first.

Where do I begin? This Verizon store is a joke and needs a revamp. I have been a customer since 2001 and this was the worst experience I've had in a long time. It almost makes me want to drop Verizon and move on. Brianequa is absolutely, hands down, the most uncompassionate, uncaring Verizon Representative that I have ever met. She was less than unhelpful. She didn't know the difference between the phones that I was interested in purchasing. She didn't or wasn't interested in helping or assisting me with transferring my information from my old phone to my new phone. She didn't offer or inform me of promotions or discounts. I had to go to Chalmette store the next day and Kimberly was the best and assisted me with retrieving my information and it's a retail store!Stephanie, the "assistant manager" called to ask about my experience. She is so unprofessional with the giggling, not listening to my concerns, putting her hand over the phone to speak and screaming with a coworker in the background. So immature and child-like. I have never made a formal complaint but I did attempt to call and speak with someone via my Verizon app and that was a joke too. It was recommended from a coworker to come on this app and file a review. Maybe I will be heard and deter anyone who thinks about walking into this store for assistance.

GREAT GREAT EMPLOYEES DUSTIN AND LANCE!! I am older, not tech savvy. Lance and Dustin were so patient, helped me with everything, spent literally hours being sure all my devices were fine, talked me through everything, and Dustin even called back to be sure my watch was taken care of. Cannot say enough about how great they were!! Verizon - you need more employees like this - 5 STARS!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BIG GUY. I think his name was Humberto or Alberto. Anyways it doesn’t matter. He treated me with great manners and love. I love Verizon now. What a great experience it was.
