“Willie had an amazing experience here! We recently moved from Texas to Louisiana, and Willie has a lot of anxiety, especially at the vet. The entire staff did such an incredible job making him feel comfortable and reducing his stress as much as possible. The nurses were wonderful, and Dr. Fraser was absolutely amazing with him.

“We recently moved from St. Bernard Parish back to Orleans Parish and, unfortunately, the previous owners of our new house also left us an unexpected housewarming gift... fleas!
We have five indoor cats who all started scratching, and since they were also due for their vaccinations, I knew there was no way I was going to stuff five already stressed cats into carriers after such a traumatic move.
Thankfully, I found Clearview Animal Hospital and their mobile veterinary service. From the very first phone call to the day of our appointment, their communication was outstanding. They made the entire process so easy and reassuring.
Dr. Edmunds and her veterinary technician, Nikkie, came to our home and were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, patient, and incredibly gentle with all five cats, not to mention they handled two extremely nervous cat parents who couldn't stop bickering! They never made us feel rushed and treated our cats with so much compassion.
I can't recommend Clearview Animal Hospital highly enough. Their staff is fantastic, and their in-home veterinary service is an absolute lifesaver for anyone with anxious pets or multiple animals. We are so grateful we found them!”

They give you a report detailing the whole visit, so you can look at it later if you want to. They tell you how much a procedure is going to cost before they do it. They understand.”

“I’m new in town and Crescent City came highly recommended. When I called they got me in right away and the treatment my dog received was thorough while still respectful of her anxiety. When my dog typically goes to the vet she is nervous, but the staff were so gentle and supportive and that went a long way towards making her more comfortable. I’ve never seen her so calm at the vet and I really appreciate the staff for creating an environment where that was possible.”

“Huge shoutout to the team at Canal St Veterinary Hospital for coming through for us in a big way! We were visiting from out of town when my service dog Basil decided vacation was the perfect time to feel under the weather. Canal St fit us in on short notice, got Basil checked out, and had him back on his paws faster than I expected.
Traveling with a service dog means he’s not just a pet, he’s my partner, and having him sidelined is stressful in a way that’s hard to explain. The staff got that without me having to say much, and they treated both of us with real kindness.
If you’re in the area and need a vet you can trust, these folks are the real deal. Basil gives them four paws up, which is high praise from a very discerning dog. 🐾”

“After a disastrous experience at Bond Vet (they're incompetent), I came from New York all the way to Metairie, Louisiana, to see board-certified dermatologist (or dogmatologist) Dr. Kristin Fullham, because unlike New York City vets, she knows what she is doing. She noticed his coat looked more wiry than the last time she saw him two years prior!
But make sure you order any prescription Rx on Chewy or Tractor Supply Company instead of buying them from Med Vet. I saved $135 doing that. They also charge a weird hospital subsidy fee even if your animal is an outpatient.
I wanted him to have a biopsy or fine needle aspiration done on his leg while I was there, but they said his GP could do that. I don't understand why they couldn't do that in-house or schedule a separate appointment.”

“Seriously impressed with how swift, helpful and kind the doctor was. Thought I was in a fever dream when I was admitted to the room because there was something screaming bloody murder in the room adjacent. Turns out it was a very unhappy pig. Amazing to know this place will even do exotics. He took care of my cat with expertise and was incredibly congenial with me. When I gave him my assumptions, he confirmed them more thoroughly and with no condescension or air of having better things to do. You don't find veterinary doctors like this very often. Writing this review before I'm even finished with my time here, and given my review history, positivity like this is few and far between.”

There was no wait when Cynthia greeted us and escorted us to our examination room (before checking Stella's weight and letting her know she dropped a few lbs!). As is typical, Stella greeted Jennie loudly when she first checked in on us although she quickly (and quite literally) had Stella eating treats out of her hands! Once Dr. Phillip entered, he performed a complete exam and explained all recommendations in a way that made perfect sense. We have been nothing but satisfied since we first started coming to see Dr. Chris and the staff at Southshore and have no doubt the service will remain exceptional in the future!
