“Needed my coolant and rear differential fluid changed last minute. They were able to get me in despite their extremely busy day. Since i lived nearby, the owner was able to bring me home and pick me up when my vehicle was ready. Price was reasonable and the staff were friendly. Will be returning for future vehicle needs!”

“Honestly, we didn't need any gas. We had an out of town doctor's appointment. When we got out we were hungry. We stopped at a Chik-fil-a for a brunch to go. We were also trying to get out of the downtown area traffic because it's hard to enjoy a meal and navigate 4 lanes of traffic. We stopped at an Exxon station just out of downtown. This afforded us a time to relax, recoup and enjoy our food. The bathrooms at the Exxon station were clean and tidy.”
“When the AC on my vehicle went out last week, I stopped in to see if they could fix it. The mechanic took a quick look and diagnosed that I needed an air compressor and quoted me a price. They ordered my part and fixed it the very next day! And $60 cheaper than their original quote! I will be taking all my automotive repairs to Dave's from now on!”
“This place is for truck drivers mostly. They do sell a lot of gas to smaller vehicles too. The inside of the store is clean, and they have a lot of stuff for you to buy. All kinds of good junk food. They also have a lot of different drinks to choose from. There was a sub shop added on to this store, but it's closed right now. I didn't ask if they was remodeling or anything, so I don't know what's going on with that. This store is in Hammond, right off the interstate at Airport Rd exit.”

“Such a fun little place! The deli inside is amazing and all the staff are super friendly and nice! The only downside is the night vibe. Night time at rendes tends to attract an odd crowd and gives off a little bit of an oddball vibe. Not hating though, truly love Rendes for their kind service, friendly smiles, and laid back atmosphere. (Also they have PEACE tea and I can’t find it anywhere else on campus!!)”

“My favorite store in the whole world with the best homemade iced tea & filled with people who are the Salt of the Earth catered our family reunion and birthday celebration BEAUTIFULLY!! The food was fantastic & Fred knows his stuff!!! I've used caterers from NO and BR & NeVeR had as good an experience as this was. Highly recommend, 2 thumbs up, photos don't come close to doing it justice!”

I was a little panicked, but the two gentlemen working there were so thoughtful, helpful, and kind. They allowed me to use their phone and helped me find someone to unlock my car. “Look I don't know if this was a fluke, yesterday @6am I walked into almost perfect operation. Bathrooms had just been bleached, some stuff was still on the floor, may not be finished. “There is a negative review for this store referencing a bad subway experience. She is referring to a chevron/Exxon (?) several miles down the road; there is no Subway in this Marathon store—they have Hunt Bros pizza and a new deli, though. This particular store is a newly renovated Marathon with absolutely wonderful people and an amazing selection of food drink yadda yadda. Very clean establishment & professional courteous service. And no I didn’t get paid for this review (not even a free coffee.)”

“I bring my son to work in Independence 6 days a week at 5:30am, on the way home i always stop there and get my breakfast which is egg and cheese biscuit, hash brown, bacon, and grits and a frozen mocha coffee... and I also get lunch while I'm there as well i get 2 beef pies, 3 boudin balls, 2 boudin egg rolls, 2 chicken tenders and a side. I get sweet and sour sauce and bbq for the chicken tenders as well. Then I fill up on gas if needed. They have the most polite workers in the store ever. This is my go to place for now on. Great job everyone and koodos to the cook, the new smoked and bbq food is amazing. ? ? ?... 10 outta 10...”
