“I love this place. The people who work there are friendly and always helpful when you need.
They have groceries, deli meat at fair prices.
They have a catering service.
If you are hungry and looking for somewhere in Lutcher/Gramercy area.
Go try their kitchen out.
Lots of sandwiches and boxes to choose from.
Seafood and other delicious foods.
They have a back area to sit and eat, you can watch TV.
Handicap parking. Bathroom for public. Clean deli and store.
They sell alcohol if you are interested.
The business also rents u-hauls and refill/replace of propane tanks.
Right next door is a cute little store that is ran by Gina (Gigi), she has some cute little items.. from costume jewelry to shirts, hats and purses.. etc.
Enjoy!”
“The sooner you get here, the better! The friendly owner Tommy is considering retirement and the food is *amazing*.The menu offers lots of fried seafood, but we opted for the grilled catfish salad (best catfish I’ve ever had, tender and delicious), plus outstanding boiled blue crabs and shrimp. The casual and kitschy decor was complemented by local Cajun musician Waylon Thibodeaux, who played bayou favorites and offered audience members the chance to try out playing the washboard. If you like the food as much as we did, take home some seasonings and prepared foods.”
“Matherne’s Market on highway LA-3125 is a great little spot to stop for groceries or Chevron Fuel. The store is neat, clean and well kept. They have a well stocked liquor and wine department as well as a nice bakery and deli. The staff are friendly and the service is good.”
“Convenient location for a small town- always a great deal on their meat department- great deals on veggies
Only wish they had some hard to find items that you can get Aldies or Rouses”
“Very friendly, quick to assist you with your purchase, very good meat department and they have excellent homemade fresh sausage, also very good jambalaya on Saturday morning (only)”
“I had the pleasure of speaking with a young guy today that talked about breast cancer awareness. Very mannerable. Did a wonderful job of engaging with customers going in and out of the store. His name was Quinn. He didn't pressure me into donating like most people do when stopping you in front of stores and that alone made me donate.”
“They don't look like much, but those ladies behind the counter making sandwiches know what they are doing!!! I personally recommend the hot sausage poboy and the roast beef poboy. Can't beat those prices either. About 6.50 for one poboy.”
