“Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.”

“I had the pleasure of having the best fried shrimp poboy since I left New Orleans. The shrimp were fried perfectly and the bread is very much like New Orleans poboy bread. Very fast service. I loved being in there. Reminded me of the hole in the wall places I used to visit when I lived in South Louisiana. While I was waiting, I was ecstatic to see a bag of Elmer's Chee Wees. I grew up eating these. It's an old New Orleans product. I came back here at least three times on my trip. I also had the Monday night special of the meatball poboy. It was also delicious but I just love shrimp so went back to order that again and again.”
“I have been going here since I was a child with my mom and dad (approximately 1988).Their Boudin and Cracklin' is a staple.The Brit and I would have Boudin with eggs in the morning. That combo is actually pretty good!”

“Amazing place. Went in December and it was decorated so nice for Christmas. It was sensory overload for my wife in the best way. She kept saying, "I love this store, I love this store." We were there on a Thursday and they had a sign that said, "$5 sushi on Thursday. " Of course we bought the sushi. It was great.”

“We have shopped here several times over the years. We have never had a bad moment in this store. The people are always happy to help us find something when we can't find it. They are always friendly at the register and ask if we need anything else. If you have ever had a bad experience in this store, it is probably because you brought it on yourself. I know that the customer is always right is what they say but you have to remember that these people have different customs than we have in America and they are raised that way. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you.”
“Quick in and out when you have a list in hand! There is always plenty of stock on the shelves. The employees are friendly and will help you with questions. The store is always clean and well organized. LOVE the fresh loaves of bread made in the bakery!!!”

She went out of her way to help me at the Coinstar and when she saw me standing in line to cash my receipt from Coinstar, she directed me to the shorter line with a shorter wait time. She is working behind the scenes for Albertsons to make the visit to the store a pleasant one.”

“I was in town for a race and needed to grab some necessities. First, the shopping carts were being cleared in the parking lot quickly, and the young men were working hard to make sure the store was stocked with them. I was greeted when I walked in by an employee who was stocking some items. The store is large, clean, and pretty well laid out. They have a very large and clean salad bar, filled with fresh items. The hot bar was out of commission, but the area was pretty clean. Their liquor section was stocked - so many great wines and beers. There were a lot of local Louisiana items all over the store. I witnessed a lady ordering something in the seafood area and the employee was enthusiastic and offered her many suggestions. Even as a non-local, I felt like I was a neighborhood local with how well I was treated. The young lady checking me out at the register was friendly and very efficient. She made great conversation as well. I felt very valued. I wish all Rouses were run like this store. My local one could learn a couple of things from the Youngsville location.”

Could lower prices on some things like milk and eggs...lol....it should be cheaper than Walmart its a dollar store just think I save more shopping at Walmart. But I still like shopping there its way quicker if you don't want to walk in a big store.”
“Small shop loaded with great finds. Lots of great spices that, if found at a major market, would cost you an arm and a leg, here it's much cheaper. Friendly staff means if you aren't comfortable with what you are buying, they will gladly help out recommend what you need. Don't be shy.”
