I love that I can go in and know that the food is non-GMO and then it's organic and it's created in healthy way.”
“I went today to get 2 hamburger steak plate lunches and 3 pistolets crab shrimp and crawfish! I’m so glad I went cause EVERYTHING was delicious! U just got a new customer and will definitely be going back to try more food! Very well seasoned!! Great job!! My dad used to go ALL the time and he said everytime he walked in he saw mr don stirring the pots! This was a long time ago! He would brag about mr don and mrs Bonnie and how good everything was!!”
“Lovely local grocery store! If you’re looking for niche or organically grown produce, this will be your stop on the way home! I typically shop for organic and gluten free items which I find here and are excellent. Would recommend if you aren’t too budget conscious but produce is often locally sourced so prices should be fair!”
“You can usually find some things there that you can't find elsewhere. To my knowledge, they are the only drug store that carry Alpha Keri bath oil. It's an excellent product for dry skin. They also have a large selection of health products.”

“I love this store! Recently moved back home from Houston, lived in many different states and I can promise you, this is by far the best grocery store around! Beats H.E.B, a Texas chain, any day of the week! The pre seasoned meats, stuffed meats & variety local sausages are delicious. The deli has very fresh, delicious, daily plate lunches & a variety of their’s & other local premade chicken salads, cheese spreads, deserts etc. The produce is always fresh & clean, the whole store is always clean. Most of all, the pricing is fair! Some items might be a few cents more, but I’d rather buy from a local grocery that caters to the Cajun community than drive across town to a big grocery chain. Champagne’s has their loyalty program for groceries as well as for their plate lunches and honors store coupons. Everybody is really friendly, something that was very heart warming coming home to! I just cannot say enough good about this store. Thank you Abbeville for keeping a tried & true local grocery store in the community!!”
“Just went to this location yesterday. Good selection of Cajun cast iron cookware. The store is super clean and organized. Very nice employees! My 3 year old loves the child size carts, something I so rarely see in grocery stores now.
Produce was all very good. As an Instacart shopper I unfortunately see a ton of stores that have a high amount of old and rotten produce, messy shelves, or a lot of out of stock items that are listed as in stock. Not here! Super clean, great stock, good produce.”
