Cutie Patootie Grooming Salon
2200 Louisiana Dr, New IberiaShe borded my Murphy, and I won't have anyone else do it after. Murphy has terrible anxiety and is a rescue pet. We left him for 4 days and came back to a healthy, happy Murphy. She was very attentive and allowed me to call and check in him daily. She is the only other person I trust with him.

Pet Care
Spanish Trail Animal Hospital
2106 W Old Spanish Trail, New IberiaI had the best experience ever with this vet. I have been with my previous vet for over ten years, and after several attempts to reconcile my bad experiences with them I decided to take my dogs elsewhere last week. I called in and set up my dogs as new patients the office manager was very professional and knowledgeable. Then without seeing JJ or Tito yet as a patient last night when returning home from work, JJ was weezing. As any pup mom would be I was worried. I called in, your receptionist answered on the second ring, she was able to fit us in before they closed. And we were in and out of there before 7:15 with a diagnosis and all the meds needed with JJ feeling better before we were out the door. So happy I have decided to change vets. Highly recommend them. The vet was also very detailed in looking over JJ in our visit and made sure we had all information we needed.

Iberia Animal Clinic: Crochet J Matthew DVM
1006 Center St, New IberiaI have nothing bad to say about the clinic and the staff. They care about you as a person and take the extra step to make your pet feel comfortable. My day was not going well because it was time for my elderly and sick Cheyenne to cross the rainbow bridge but the staff comforted me and I appreciated the extra step.

Iberia Parish Animal Shelter
2017 Seaway Access Rd, New IberiaNow, my review is based on a 2014 visit so please bear that in mind.Staff was friendly and helpful, and accomodated me completely. But the shelter, at that time, was overcrowded and they were getting 300 cats a month… so this is a high kill rate shelter. They don’t have much of a choice than that because there’s only so much state budget that they can get and they have to use that budget to handle all the animals that they have. It’s not an easy job. When I went inside, I saw so many animals. They were all caged, and it was very difficult for me because I knew I couldn’t save them all… but I went in and got two black kittens. Not many adult cats in there…It’s difficult to see, but if you are going there to save an animal, that’s wonderful.
