“Great experience, Barbara was very engaging and extremely helpful in finding something in my price point. My wife truly loves the silver and turquoise necklace I purchased for her. If I can ever make it back to New Orleans I will definitely look for another gift for my wife in your shop.”
“We stumbled upon this place the other day and came across a VERY eclectic collection of what I'd call furniture art. Everything from something Genghis Khan would have had to the front of an old automobile as a love seat. You could visit as if you were going to an museum.”
“Got my engagement ring here- it needed to be resized. shipped it in and it was resized beautifully and shipped back fast! service was great and ring is beautiful . so happy ! Highly recommend”
“Very nice selection of old doors. Mainly doors. But they were so beautiful. They stripped old paint there and sand them. If you are looking for old door parts and doors then this is your place!!”
“Ricca's has saved the day so many times! If you own on old house this place is a gem!
Doors, hardware, lights, one of the few places to get medallions, and I even bought a mailbox there!
Love Ricca's, shop local!”
“A wonderful gem! 1000s of great finds! A found object spot for those that enjoy thrifting and repurposing! Go.. spend time searching through all the incredible treasures this shop has to offer... if you cant find it.. it's in the back.. just ask!”
“The person who helped us was so kind and knowledgeable! We (unfortunately, haha) didn't have a large budget, and they kindly found something very charming & beautiful within our price range for my friends and I, and took the time to polish the pieces for us. The store is unique, as well. Thank you for the cool memory - I'm excited to wear my lovely vintage earrings! : )”
“I searched forever for pantry doors and was told about Strip Ease by my designer. When I was unable to find what I wanted, I was told that I could get my doors cypress doors custom made. What a great choice! The shop was easy to work with and my well made doors were completed in a timely manner. I knew I would have to wait a little because the shop is always busy, but it was so worth the wait. I hope to use them again for custom made front doors.”
“Stopped in on my first visit to New Orleans (am moving there later this year) Wanted to see the types of stuff here and I was not disappointed. Had I more storage in NOLA I may have left with more. Instead I picked up some reproductions of antique Storyville photos to frame and put in my new place! Can't wait to come back once I am moved on in! Highly recommend stopping buy and checking things out. The Guy working was very welcoming!”

“Very cool little shop run by some really nice people. So glad we happened to walk by; we got a dope Playboy mug to add to our barware collection. We look forward to stopping by again on our next visit. :)”
“After finding out about Dop Antiques through a local interior designer and following them on Instagram a gothic style cabinet popped up ina post and I had to have it. Upon arriving to the store the staff was above and beyond helpful when it came to searching for a makers mark including removing the pegged pieces and providing additional lighting and educating us on what they knew about the piece. After purchasing that piece we roamed the store and were shown another new piece that had come in, a chest that held wine bottles. We held back then but when their Memorial Day sale came around we found ourselves back in the store hoping the chest was still there. Luckily for us it was!! Staff was once again super friendly and helped us load it into our vehicle after purchasing it. They do have a local contact who delivers if needed, which we are doing for the first piece at a very reasonable price. All around a wonderful experience at Dop Antiques where it is easy to get lost in the maze of beautiful furnishings and chat with the great staff.”
“Remarkable little antiques shop at Jackson Ave and Magazine St right next to the famous Simon's Sign Workshop & Curiosities, which has no listing on Google Maps, but is a landmark for those who've seen or ordered one of his signs around NOLA. Anyway, there's so much packed into every nook and cranny of this antiques shop.”
“I have bought multiple pieces of antique taxidermy from OW Home while visiting new orleans - they have always been super friendly and easy to work with. The furniture and taxidermy selection is excellent. Can't miss this place if you are shopping Magazine.”
“Lots of things at this place, we went twice and spent about 3 hrs in the store looking at things. Even if you don't purchase anything it's a good place to go.”

“Stepping into this charming store feels like a little taste of France right here on Magazine Street. They have a wonderful selection of vintage treasures thoughtfully sourced from France, alongside modern, useful items like dinner napkins, fragrant soaps, delightful children's toys, and stunning Christmas ornaments. They even carry authentic fèves for your galette des rois! Truly a must-visit gem.”
“Mr Harris was a nice gentleman who took the time to answer questions and educate me and my wife on the antique copper cookware that he has in the store. He has a nice eclectic mix of furniture and items compared to some other shops on the same street that may only specialize in one century or another.”
“Tara Shaw is wonderful to watch. Her huge knowledge of her product is great to listen to. I wish I lived close to her store so I could visit. I also think she could have a very successful clothing line. Love her choice of clothes she wears.”

“I truly cannot recommend Moss Antiques enough! I've been here twice now to buy jewelry and won't stop anywhere else. Mark is very fair with his pricing and has a beautifully curated selection of antique jewelry. 10/10!”
“A real treasure on lower Magazine. Always an interesting and eclectic collection. This is the kind of shop that used to line the street, full of authentic and unusual finds.”

“Uptown went the extra mile! I had a piece from France drop-shipped straight to him. He signed for it, restored it, and patiently held on to it until I could coordinate nearby Aguilar's upholstery to pick it up at his shop. Props to both companies for working so well together and being willing to save me a trip.”

“Great finds in this store, and the lady selling was very nice. She even helped us carefully wrap everything to make sure it stayed secure, as the items were quite delicate.
Based on my experience and reading some of the previous reviews, I can see why some people mention that sometimes they say “what you want to hear” in order to make a sale. That said, much of the selection is really great, and there are many beautiful pieces worth visiting for - got some gorgeous jewelry”

“I walked into Heirloom Furnishings LLC and immediately received a friendly welcome from a lady I later learned was the owner of the store. They have a nice collection of consignment items of a wide variety. The prices are quite reasonable and they have a nice selection.”
“What an amazing team they have. Had two porch lanterns that needed to be repair. Not an easy repair. The team did an excellent job and where wonderful to interact with. Quality and great service.”
“Love love love this place!!! I stumbled across this place while visiting New Orleans from Portland. Every little piece directly shipped from France... You'll be taken back by some of the things you'll see. A must visit!”
“If you’re in New Orleans, you really should take time to visit Dunn & Sonnier. We were here at Thanksgiving and found they had completely decked halls with gorgeous gift ideas and antiques. The florals were stunning and inspirational for an upcoming destination wedding. I will visit again and again when I’m in town.”
“This felt like a walking into a museum. We were a bit surprised we were welcomed in even though they were closing in just 15 minutes. But everyone who worked here was friendly and kept suggesting different pieces to go check out. There were so many different pieces from every era. Everything was in exquisite condition and out in the open to fully view. It is such an interesting collection and definitely worth stopping in!”
