“Such a cute store and friendly owner! Just happened to walk past this place and as a dog owner of 3 beautiful pups, I had to go in. The prices are amazing!! I bought collars, bandanas and a couples shirts all for about $60. It would have costs so much more elsewhere. Again, the owner was so helpful and friendly that it was a pleasure to spend my money with her. Highly recommend.”

“I am so grateful that I am able to conveniently buy my cat’s food here. The folks working here are SO. NICE. They always remember my name and my special orders, they were so helpful and understanding while I kept changing my orders due to concerns with bird flu (my cat eats a raw diet), and I honestly always leave smiling because of how friendly and thoughtful they are. The fact that I live close enough to this store, and that I am able to feed my Lula only the best with their help, is seriously such a positive in my life. “I shop both locations in a regular basis- (literally every two weeks for dog food and treats). I went in yesterday afternoon & could not locate the treats I normally buy. Upon asking the guy behind the counter, I got the vibe I was bothering him by being there and talking to him. He told me he believed the brand I was looking for was down aisle 2, but didn’t think you carried anything like that. Not sure if he’s new or what, but I would like someone to step away from the desk and help me look for something when I ask for help. I continued to walk around in circles until I finally found what I was looking for (they changed the packaging on the treats). Then to make it better, I went up to the counter and was expecting my free bag of dog food because they have told me the last TWO times that my NEXT bag would be free. Apparently not- he made me pay for it and said the NEXT one was free. Not sure what’s going on and idk why I’m so bothered about this interaction to be still thinking about it the next day- but I love these stores bc everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I will stop using this location if the Nola hospitality declines.”
“Whenever I bring Miss Betty, my short-haired princess in for a bath and coloring, I know Alex, Kelley, and Riley will be so caring and go above and beyond. They make sure my little diva is very comfortable and she always ends up looking absolutely fantastic.”
“What an incredible neighborhood staple. Dogs welcome. Room to play. Loads to shop. Beautiful humans run this place. Offers dog training, dog run, and more which is important as you wouldn't know unless you explored.
Also fabouls art supplies. Pups and creative ammunition? All in a historic gymnasium turned haven? It doesn't get more Bywater than this.”

“I needed my dog's nails trimmed, but I did not want to go back to Aurora Companion Animal Hospital again because of the wait (even though I always made appts) plus the way my dog was treated. I walked in, my dog felt comfortable and the nail trim was finished very quickly. I will definitely return to Petco Grooming for my dog's nails trimming!”
“I am pretty much there everyday and everyone is so nice except for this one waitress she has long dark hair glasses looks kinda phillopeam but she purposely putsi soda water in me and my girlfriends cup so really isn't any telling how far she would go to mess with someones drink”

“I like this location. Very clean. Ridiculous to charge for a bag. I started to avoid shopping here unless completely necessary and this just solidified my not returning. It's not the amount, it's really the principle. The prices are higher here for everything already. Everyone sells the refrigerator food CHEAPER. WHAT'S 9.99 HERE IS 7.29 down the street at Walmart and cheaper at Winn Dixie 7.99.”

“Wonderful experience grooming here on January 26, 2025 with Edie.
My Sheltie hasn’t been regularly groomed since covid. Shelties really do need pretty regular grooming. My poor girl had been neglected when I scheduled with Edie. I was actually concerned I’d be told she could not be done since she was really, REALLY, overdue and oh-so-furry.
Edie was great. Only one day to schedule, and running right on time. I did let her know my girl was overdue, but Edie did not seem concerned. She was very sweet, soft spoken and gentle with my scared little Sheltie girl. I knew she was in good hands with Edie when we left.
I picked her up a couple hours later, and I was thrilled with the very thorough shampoo-conditioning (with Furminator), grooming, cut, nails, teeth, etc. Edie did a fabulous job, and again, I’ll say it—my girl was way overdue. She’s now super soft and beautifully trimmed.
I could not be happier, and I’ve been unafraid to speak up in the past about sub-standard grooming elsewhere. We will definitely be back and will certainly ask for Edie next time.
Of note: I’m aware of “tipping backlash,” but a good dog groomer absolutely earns a 20% gratuity, which we were happy to leave with Edie’s coworkers when we picked up our girl.”
“I felt compelled to share my outstanding grooming experience with my Golden Doodle. At 17 months old, my standard-sized dog has had various grooming sessions, but this one was truly exceptional.
During our visits to New Orleans, we had the pleasure of working with Jermaine, who demonstrated remarkable skill and professionalism. The haircut was beautifully executed, and I was particularly impressed by how relaxed my dog appeared after the process.
Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable for the high quality of service provided. I wholeheartedly recommend Jermaine and look forward to returning for future grooming sessions.
