“This store is outstanding and serves the local community of Saint Martinville in such a "small town market" way that it is almost cliché. The prices are a little high, however, with the prices of everything going up I would rather spend an extra few bucks at Cade's supporting the community as well as its people.”
“Very cute little store and easy to miss, has everything you would ever need and a wide selection. I was impressed about the meat they had on hand as well as an in house butcher. They do serve hot food and I sat and talked to Michelle for a while who was easy to talk to and gave me some advice on what to get. Upon getting my selection I talked with another staff member and verified they do cash checks and money orders, also having an ATM, Coinstar, and bags of ice on site. They do sell alcohol and tobacco. The prices for everything are very competitive, honestly a very cute and quaint Cajun store. Staff members are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This is a hidden gem of Mom & Pop shops that I would chose over a franchise any day. Plenty of parking with a Marathon Gas Station at the front. It’s nice to still see these small grocery stores where customer service is placed as a high priority. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely, the best service and people of any grocery store around. There can be many imitators of Chicken Burgers (NuNu's, rouses, etc) but NO ONE beats these. I have cooked thousands in multiple states and everyone asks for them specifically. Go see Leland and the crew at Landry's!”

“By far the BEST sausages anywhere within the state. The meat quality & butcher shop STILL remains top of the line. So glad that I can still find Mr Antoine champagne's original seasoning here it is the perfect combination for any dish as far as seasoning goes and God knows I've tried them all. My grandmother, Thelma Usie Guidry purchased her sirloin, sausages and marinated pork here for as long as I can recall. I have moved to Lafayette but still make it a point to buy my meat here (or will have my Dad pickup there) when possible. Thank you for keeping the original recipes always providing consistence to repeat customers your efforts are appreciated”
“Convenient grocery store when I need to grab a few items. Store is always clean and well stocked. I like the little deli section right up front because they have a few prepared items if you need to pick up ready to eat food for lunch. The prices seem a little high, but I assume since its smaller than the bigger grocery stores but other than that, great place to pop in.”
“This place is small to maneuver around. But really easy going. If your bringing peppers ?. You will need to scale in then you will be u loaded. Then you will scale out get your paperwork at scale. There is some overnight parking but limited.”
“DG is close by and convenient although I really wish they would have a second entrance from the side road. The store is at a real busy intersection and would be so appreciated by all if a side entrance would open. Lots of close calls of people cutting in front of you or stopping at the last minute. I always pay close attention when traveling in front of the store.”
“Cute little store with all the basic necessities. I think it's selection of products seems to be of medium to high quality, unfortunately the whole shop is a bit dark so the first impression might be a bit negative when walking in.”
“Five stars because Crystal is awesome, great customer service, she took the time to call me back when the previous employee did the bare minimum. She could have not called me back and left me with the previous lady response (no effort to even see what the issue could be). I would be waiting about a week for my medication card when nothing was wrong with the info I provided.”
“The workers here are very nice and helpful. The manager Ernest from last night was very helpful and told me about these new products of the new cereal and ice cream. Thanks to him the women of the house enjoyed it. Now my wife and 2 daughters want more.”

“If you are looking for ambiance and upmarket merchandise then what are you doing looking at dollar store reviews? This has all the things that make a dollar store a dollar store. A lot of household goods and processed food options, spaces packed with goods, and cheap prices. I stopped here last time with the hope of picking up a frozen pizza for my hungry child and was not disappointed. If you need cheap things now, and your in the area give it a try.”
