“I'm providing a contrast to other reviews. I was super excited by the economical prices that I paid when in there. Where we live, we would pay twice as much for everything in the store, so we don't share the negative price point comments of other reviewers. We don't have trading posts where we live, and this place was so cool. You could get a beer, fishing tack, pvc pipe and and hot food and ice cream in one rural location. I usually take notes of our trip highlights in a notebook and forgot to bring one. They had a notebook there with flowers on the cover, and that is part of our trip memories, getting mom's notebook at the trading post (way more fun than getting it at a national chain). We had fun there, check them out and make your own opinion”

Ever since leaving New York to live in Baton Rouge, one of the few things I've missed was the convenience and undeniable "ghetto" feeling of a orner store bodega. The amount of clutter and abundance of types of products was great, really reminded me of the randomness of a NY bodega, I loved it and will return.”
