“Amazing experience!! I could not recommend this place enough they were always willing to answer my questions and trust me I had a lot! “Hotel was nice. The only gripe is there was an older person at the counter and a lot of people were trying to check in. Would have went smoother if there were 2 people available to assist. Took 30+ minutes to check in and we assist had a reservation.”

“Was here for the Latin Festival, really nice. I do believe it was a missed opportunity without having any of the booth vendors from all over the different Latin countries to sell their unique items to the community”

“Our wedding at Le Pavillon was incredible! Sue is such a pleasure to work with. She was available whenever we needed her, and I'd recommend having a wedding or event here to anyone I know. The venue is so beautiful, and their food was a hit with our guests.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5 stars
The Heymann Performing Arts Center is a great spot for small-town performances and local events. It’s conveniently located and easy to get to, with just enough charm to make every visit feel special. Whether it’s a concert, comedy show, or local production, this place delivers a solid experience every time.”

“A tad expensive for a self guided tour but its for a good cause. There were a few items in the gift shop that looked like they may be using AI generated content, which feels wrong for a place honoring the history and origins of an area.

No stars were lost for this, but there were a lot of spiders and wasps, especially in the doctors house. It's an open-air museum in Louisiana in the summer, so that's not a surprise, but you should be aware of it before you go.

Don't think i would go again, but if someone told me they wanted to stretch their legs and see some neat things, I might recommend it.”

“Unique music venues with rustic decorations that really set the mood. Great music, friendly people, and nice location. Really enjoyed the John Waters inspired burlesque show. Why do I have to wait until August 31st for another great show. I think they could fill the place with shows like that at least twice a month. Very fun and excellent performances. As good as anything I have ever seen in New Orleans.”

“Visited this cute location for a baby shower. Hidden secret that will now be revealed. I was lucky enough to meet the owners & they gave me a tour and history of the place?. I can't wait till they open up the venue in HOUSTON!The place has a homie feel, clean, nicely decorated, perfect lighting, lots of parking, several rooms to use. A perfect location for wedding, parties, professional events, girls night out...highly recommended ?”

“Impeccable service! Josh and his staff, gave my dad the service he deserved! I told him what I wanted, while on a budget and heartbroken and he made it happen. From the Deacon, singers, flowers, programs and how well my dad looked I knew I had gone to the right spot. This is definitely not just “a business” for them. I pray abundant blessings and success. Thank you again!”

“Tammy Kelly and her staff go out of the way, making sure your stay is exceptionally. The rooms are clean, breakfast is hot and ready, they even have a social hour with snacks and beverages, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
From someone who travels for a living, you can’t find a better place to stay in Lafayette.”

“I really enjoyed playing bingo at Johnston Street Bingo! The price is $18, which is very reasonable, and they even offer a kid's pack for 12 bucks. They have computer bingo as well. They also have a consession stand”

“saw cody johnson in concert last weekend, it was awesome! the cajundome is huge. the only problem is that the women’s bathroom is SOO far away from the floor. the men’s bathroom is right around the corner, but i had to walk all the way to the other side of the building to get to the women’s restroom. i had a great time though!”

“Pretty good hotel, but one thing I will mention on here is DO NOT book this hotel if you’re under the age of 25.

Nowhere on this hotels website or any of the third party booking sites “policies” pages that I looked at mention that age requirement, and most hotels I’ve been to require you to be 21, not 25.

An employee who I won’t name informed us of that upon check in.

My girlfriend and I drove all the way from Texas and we were allowed to stay since we weren’t gonna cause any kind of noise (partying, etc.) which I found kind of ironic given there is a literal bar/nightclub next door.

The room overall was good, location is amazing, and I appreciate the employee who allowed us to stay and not have to spend a fortune on a last minute alternate hotel, which is why I haven’t named them, as it’s the companies fault, not the worker’s.

But be aware that you likely won’t get as lucky as we were if you book this place under the age of 25.”

“My child went here for a birthday party recently and had a great time. I would recommend this place to others. (The price is affordable as well, which is especially great in this economy.)”

“The front desk is very friendly and professional. The cleaning staff varies by day but we had one knock on our door while we had the DND sign out and our baby was sleeping; she rudely told us not to set our trash outside the door. This is common practice in hotels when you don't want turndown service but need the trash emptied. Other than that, we had great service during our stay. I will say that this hotel does not offer breakfast and does not have a pool. That's our fault for not checking before check in but just a heads up for anyone who might see this and is expecting breakfast.”
