“Wide variety of categories for things big box stores may not have or a lot less expensive. It's too bad there is a staff shortage as it means long lines & staff can't get much done in the store”

“The staff thus far has been friendly, the prices have been great on most items, and I love that they try to help you to check out as they quickly as they can. Everyone is not responsible for others mistakes so I appreciate the ones who take their job seriously.”

“.ost of the people who work there are nice and helpful if you can find what you're looking for. At this location there stock is on the shelves not in totes and boxes on the floor.”

“They have the best product selection of any dollar store I've been to. It's a mess, but all of the dollar general stores are. They don't hire enough employees. It's not the workers fault.”

“I like the Dirt Cheap for the most part in terms of finding some sweet bargains but sometimes they over price the heck out of things. The store works like this: they put ridiculously high prices on their tags so that when you take it up to the counter and ring it up you feel like you're getting a deal because it's always cheaper/on sale for less than the tag. But that's aggravating because every section of the store has different sales, and things get moved around. And sometimes things aren't even as "on sale" as it says on the signs. There's a website where you can scan items based on the area you're in to check the price but that's not always accurate or helpful depending on the item. And sometimes I just find things that are priced about the same as I could find them at a normal store. Dirt cheap is sort of like a garage sale. They have constantly rotating stock (and employees) and sometimes you get a bargain and sometimes you leave without buying anything because you couldn't find anything worth spending your money on. The store is a constant chaotic mess but I'm sure that's partially because that's the style of the store (being full of salvaged items) and partially because of the customers.”

“Have you ever been a family gathering, and you all ready went to a major super market earlier that day, and the lines were packed, and being that it's such a big store you would think they would have more than 2 lines open? Well if your in a hurry and you want to get in and out fast and save 💰 then this is the place..! They have a little bit of everything, food, drinks, hygiene products, cleaning products, movies, extra and with so many locations , there is allways one close by. This is great place to find everything you need!”

“Another successful venture of quick-in, not* so quick-out trip; yet there is always the right savory delight to sink my chops into! There also was a pleasant cashier to ensure a positive exit.?”

“kinda sucks when they close at 9. i depend on the fact that they will be open until 10! A notice would give me more time to prepare! This store is the only other stpre open at 9 and you would not believe the things you will remember you need at 9:00 at night?? Love the store, some employees could be a bit friendlier but usually they are friendly and helpful! You guys need a better system about your stocking! All the dollar stores seems to struggle with this! Thought—maybe you should hire someone for 1 day or night to do the majority of stocking- of course they would need experience! One night a week wont break the bank plus it would add revenue bc ppl would be able to find what they are looking for and not have to ask and it would bring in more shoppers bc of s cleaner store! i know several pplthat will not shop here or anywhere bc of that alone”

“The lady I always see there is very friendly and caring. I don't know if she is the manager or needs to be. It is rare to see anyone else at the register or working in the store with her so you know she is hard working handling the constant stream of customers in our little town of Jackson, Louisiana, mostly on her own. While she works the register, she greets little old men and others by name enquiring about their family and showing concern for them. She is honestly very well suited to managing the social interactions required in a small community like this. Something I know I couldn't do. I may not be one she calls by name but I am glad to see her when I go and would hate to see the place without her. Even on the end of a long busy day she manages to be friendly with most everyone that comes in”
