“The Dollar General in Sorento is a good spot to stop and pick up any of several items. This is a convenient location, right on Airline Highway and easy to enter and exit. The store is relatively clean and fairly well stocked. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating.”
“This is a gem of a little truck stop. You may have to park on the back of the lot, because of all the local truck park. But this is the most clean truck stop I’ve been in a while. No restaurant, but there is a McDonald’s and Waffle House with in walking distance. The also have showers they are a little on the small side but they are very clean.”

“A nice little corner gas station that also functions as a tiny grocery store, on the side of the highway with some of the best damn boudin I've ever had in my life. The smoked boudin is absolutely incredible, I have yet to try any hot lunches. It's an interesting place where you can go pick up some eggs, motor oil, cast iron pan, and some fishing hooks. They got a little bit of everything.”
