“This location was not overly crowded. I saw a pump with the yellow plastic bag on it, however i was able to go to an open pump with no waiting. i only got gas. Paid at the pump so no visit inside the convenience store. The outside was well lit and very clean.”
“I've been trading there for several years now. I can say with no hesitation that these folks have treated me very well.Their gas is always well in line on price and they sell tires too!! I wont buy tires anywhere else.The mechanic is one of the hardest working people I've ever seen and knows what he is doing.Abraham is the owner and eldest I suppose but I consider us friends.His boys work there and they are all really nice people.Stop by and say hi.”
“This local gas station has a lot to offer!
The staff is friendly, and the fuel prices are competitive with those closer to the city. The cigarette prices are decent, and even great when the rewards system is working properly. The food is good; I especially love the crawfish meat pies and chicken gizzards when they're fresh. The fresh boiled crawfish are just okay—the spice mix is a bit too hot and has a unique taste I can't quite place. I do wish they did a better job cleaning them, as some can taste like straight mud, but it's not enough to stop me from buying them every other week until the season ends.”
“Always plenty of room to enter, fuel up, and exit. Always competitive prices plus save more by using Kroger points which are already added to my account even when driving directly across the parking lot from grocery shopping.”
“I go there at least once a week and sometimes twice a week to buy breakfast takeout. The pricing for the breakfast food is very reasonable. The workers are very helpful, courteous and Friendly. Their food is excellent and their homemade biscuits are the best, they remind me of the biscuits that my Mother use to make when I growing up and still at home. I totally recommend this establishment for a fantastic breakfast if you are interested/into eating breakfast occasionally.”
“I stopped by here with a friend the other day to get some gas and we had to sit there for a long while to get some gas. It was a busy part of the day though. They are usually very good about getting everybody gassed up and on their way again. I will I'm sure go back there again.”

“I had to stop in to the Raceway to get some gas and a Inquisitor. Alot of other stores don't have it available sometimes, but it seems like Raceway always has the newest one and there's not usually a long line to check out either, so I can be in and out pretty quickly and be on my little way!!!!!”
“They should honestly rename this place Shirley's. The regulars thats come in here for years know why. Place is in the perfect place and has everything you need to get quickly.Also there's a liquor side that's open longer than most liquor stores near by. Thank me later :)”
“Friendly people and convenient (to me) location makes it a winner in a crunch. A bit pricey than the circle k down the road but at least you know this place will be open when it says they will….random fact….about 25 years ago when itWas an entirely different construction and had a little gas station owned by a nice Vietnamese family and adjacent was a golf driving range that persisted for much longer amazingly….well firstly they had amazing crawfish there…also when we were like 12 they had cheap offbrand cigarettes in a spinning rack on the floor where customers were and that’s where we would “borrow” them occasionally (probably only 2-3 times) when the owners were playing some sort of carom Billiards (table with no pockets) in the other room…anyhow…this is my way of giving a very long overdue apology…they were always nice people and nice to us…. ??”

“In store prices are ok. The cashier was nice and friendly. Bigger lot than most stations, meaning you can pull your trailer thru the pump islands fairly easy. Fuel/gas prices were about average for the area.”

“Gotta say I hated it when the new owners took over. Still don’t like it like I did when Steve owned it. But it is just a convenient store. It is convenient, but the locals seem to live above anyone around themselves and park at the pumps, sometimes blocking traffic for those trying to get gas or just pass through. Annoying at peoples inconsiderate ways. And what is up with the roof? Get a roofer for goodness sake.”
“The Derek has really good food. A very comfortable atmosphere and friendly folks. Also I don't know if you're into it or not but they also have pickled quill eggs and things like that there too So if you like that stuff they have it. They're corn dogs are large so it is definitely worth buying one of those on your way through to go somewhere if that's what you desire lots of corn dog for not a big price awesome I hope they keep it it keeps customers rolling in Plus many other good foods as well. They're drinks are not too bad in price as well. And their coffee machines are always working...?”
“They have the best energy drink called Tweaker. It is airways only $1.00. It tastes great and works better than all the rest. I drive across town every pay check to stock up on them.”

“This place is sort of new to me I stop in once are twice for they're fried Crunchy chicken it is really good it is season on point tart tot logs are season and taste good as well you must go check out they're eatery section and while you are there order some of that great chicken and remember everyone's taste buds are different I hope yours is on point of enjoying that chicken like I did it's the crunches for me ummmm that chicken was soooo yummy.”
“This is a really cool gas station! It has a small town feel to it for some reason and I absolutely love that. They have a nice selection of accessories such as phone chargers and sunglasses. The sunglasses are much nicer than your average gas station ones. I highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out.”
“Great lunches. Thursday is pork chops or ribs with 2 sides and a drink, Friday is great fried catfish or ribs with two sides and a drink, Saturday is catfish or ribs and two sides. Tuesday and Fridays they have two tacos, two sides, and a drink. These lunch specials are $9.99. They have other lunch specials on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday that are very good but the aforementioned are my favorites. You can dine in, but with no table service. However, the service from the lunch counter and check out is tremendous.”

“I stopped here because I was just so tired I couldn’t make my planned stop. (Truck driver) The downside is that the truck parking lot has a lot of huge potholes so proceed slowly unless you want whiplash ?. To walk a pet you need to walk to the front near the highway to find some grass. The truck parking lot is filled with trash, tires and high weeds on the boundary. I thought the grocery store was clean and nice but had to do a double take because a small jar of mayonnaise was over $11. ? What the…I love my mayonnaise sandwiches but I’ll do without thank you very much! The whole trip was worth it though when I got fried fish and okra at the deli. The young lady working behind the counter told me that if I had a few minutes to wait, she was making a fresh batch. I always have a few minutes for good food! It was beyond delicious and cooked perfectly. I’ll def stop again.”

“Stopped here with my family for a restroom break at almost midnight one night last week. All I wanted was coffee. The Community Coffee they had was very fresh. The guy at the counter was so very friendly and nice, he asked where we were going and commented on how beautiful my family was, and proceeded to let me have the coffee on the house since we were driving so late. That was such an awesome, unexpected feel-good experience. On our way back through the next week, we stopped there again and this time I topped off my tank and we bought some snacks. Will stop here on my through trips in the future. Thank you.”
