“Mr Eric is a phenomenal watchmaker! After talking with him he started his craft at 8 years old, taught by his father. He’s a genuine person, an artist in his craft, and has amazing vintage watches for sale. I had my seconds hand changed to one I liked better and he performed the task while I waited, which took less than 5 minutes. His prices are below fair and although my watch isn’t a Rolex or Breitling, if I had one of those high end watches I would only go to him for services with full confidence of having the job done right! Very impressed with him and his prices and well worth the drive across the lake from the Northshore. “Working with Stanley of Stanley Jewelers was a fantastic experience. Stanley helped me surprise my Mrs. with a new diamond ring for Christmas. He and I had several phone calls to map things out, and I visited his office twice. The first office visit was to discuss diamonds and cost. I received the Stanley Ungar "spiel" during this visit, which I highly recommend. Stanley gave me a brief and informative history of diamonds and then covered how the cut, clarity, etc., affect the overall cost. The second office visit was to pick up the masterpiece that Stanley created for me. The price was significantly less than Jared's or Ramsey's, both of which I have purchased jewelry from previously, and the diamond I got from Stanley was far superior to the diamonds I bought from the big-name jewelers in Nola. When you go to Stanley for your jewelry, you get an extremely knowledgeable jeweler and a warm, funny human being. These traits plus quality jewelry at lower prices are a complete win-win!”
