“This felt like a walking into a museum. We were a bit surprised we were welcomed in even though they were closing in just 15 minutes. But everyone who worked here was friendly and kept suggesting different pieces to go check out. There were so many different pieces from every era. Everything was in exquisite condition and out in the open to fully view. It is such an interesting collection and definitely worth stopping in!”
“Get a reading by Kamille! You’ll thank me later! She is spot on, very accurate and just a great human being in general. Shoo is very knowledgeable and friendly for tourist and practitioner alike! The voodoo festival was very informative as well!”
“We stumbled upon this place the other day and came across a VERY eclectic collection of what I'd call furniture art. Everything from something Genghis Khan would have had to the front of an old automobile as a love seat. You could visit as if you were going to an museum.”

“This place is PHENOMENAL ? The artwork is astounding! The secrets room is heavy but absolutely wonderful to have such a place for people to let things out. I love everything about this place. The staff was wonderful as well. I will absolutely be back (many times I'm sure!!!!)”
“Absolutely love the pieces. They have a large selection. I purchased a beautiful necklace and bracelet. Great customer service. She even cleansed my piecey's before I wore them. I love this store”
“Of all of the interesting galleries and shops in New Orleans, this is probably the most fun and whimsical of them all. It is absolutely impossible not to smile while you walk around looking at everything. We purchased one guy who looks like he had 30 cups of coffee for our wall and a picture of a monster putting rainbows in jars and sending them off to the world. I look at both daily.”
“Zele is a great shop! I think just about everything in there is from Louisiana artists. There is beautiful artwork, jewelry, and other small home goods/decor. The store is also way bigger than it looks from the outside. Highly recommend!”
“This is a wonderful gift shop, that specializes in local artist made items. If you are looking for quality items to gift or take home as a souvenir of your visit to New Orleans, this shop is a great choice! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The offerings are interesting and well made. The store is pleasantly arranged and easy to browse. Prices are fair. (This is NOT a French Quarter junky souvenir shop!)”
“I recently hosted a seated sushi dinner Halloween party for 40 friends at Fire House Loft, and it was beyond incredible! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was unmatched. The space's unique architecture blended seamlessly with our Halloween decor, creating a spooky-chic vibe that wowed everyone.
The layout was perfect for a seated dinner, with ample room for our sushi chef to work his magic and for guests to mingle comfortably. The team at Fire House Loft went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, from the table setup to the lighting that added an extra touch of elegance.
Everyone couldn’t stop raving about the venue. It struck the perfect balance of being intimate yet spacious. Fire House Loft truly made the evening unforgettable, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to host a one-of-a-kind event. We’re already brainstorming our next gathering here!
Thank you for making our Halloween party so special!”
“"Old school" New Orleans. Home office of iconic artist. Cool place if you want to experience New Orleans' funky artistic side (instead of the cookie cutter corporate sanitized New Orleans).”
“We came from Texas to get a tattoo at Hidden Dimension and it did not disappoint! Ty and Mike were wonderful and we will be back to get another tat. Thank you for an awesome experience!”
“Stopped in last December to look at the incredible art. Troy showed us around and informed of us of style of Mr. Lukezic with the different textures. We loved the tango dog style and Troy said he could have a custom one done. We got a spring flower painting and a custom tango fire dog. He personalized it with station number. They both were safely shipped, we even asked for the sketch and hung it next to the art. They look AMAZING!”

“Such beautiful masterpieces I saw today...They are making a special Goblet for our churches Passover Feast...So looking forward to what they create for us...Thank you for all your extra help today. Will be back... Blessings to you and your wife!”
“One of the most exquisite collections I've had the pleasure of viewing. The store is expertly staged with one of a kind finds. It's very organized and clean. Fine Antiques, phenomenal vintage and luxury decor in their description is not an exaggeration. As another reviewer stated, that deserves to be repeated, this is definitely a secret that needs to get out. The customer service was top notch, and they ship anywhere as well. STOP. IN. TODAY!”
“I love this place, it's so cute and definitely a memorable part of my vacation! Absolutely love this cute shop and all of the pro animal rescuing stuff. Opposums are the main attraction here! Very very cute products and I just loved this place.”
“One the best Magazine St boutiques! So many sweet treasures-- cute NOLA tees and prints, earrings, lovely lotions and nail polishes, little ceramics, and some sweet vintage finds. Highly recommend popping in!”
“Beautiful pottery--check out their wood-fired pieces! And very friendly potters who had great advice for out-of-towners about where to go to make the most of our stay in NOLA.”
“Absolutely Fantastic place. The gallery was beautiful, and the staff was extremely informative. After talking to friends of ours about the artist, we went back and purchased a piece. Very happy”
“This art gallery was astoundingly unique with mixed media pieces, original art work, prints, and interactive pieces. The mid-range price point makes it a must see for someone looking for one of a kind pieces. Also the gallery attendant was very personable and helpful even though we had kids with us.”
“This was the nicest shop that we stopped in. The owner was very sweet and allowed my daughter to play with many items. I would highly recommend anyone stopping by.”
“This Antique store is so amazing, you will find things in here that you did not know you needed. I went in here to kill some time, the owner at the counter was very sweet and knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing a very cool box for my necklace's, and a French version of the prayer to St. Michael, if you are looking for a unique gift this is the place to go. The prices are not bad either, I think every local should visit this store.”
“The surprises in this museum start when you walk in the front door. Floor joists for the upper floors are exposed, with the floor cut away to create an atrium in front of the brick front. We liked seeing the antique cameras scattered throughout the photo exhibit, and the room tricked out to look like a darkroom, with red light, the b&w photos hung by clothes pins, and an old enlarger.Another space held a couch, bookcases and photographs on the wall. It was meant to suggest grandma’s living room. It was Irvin, who works on the second floor, who pointed out what the furnishings were meant to signify in that gallery.Irvin was fun to talk to about art at the Contemporary Arts Center, art in general. He explained the New Orleans cultural references in the photographs: Second Line, local Native Americans and the clubs (A club was recreated in one of the galleries).”
“After many years of working with Tony - it is still a big 5 stars. He takes great care and a good sense of what will look good. My company has over 50 pieces that he completed for us, maybe more. I have personal items with him too.”
“OK OK. I finally made it back when they were open. The owner was so friendly that I want to take back the meanness I said before. Yes they are currently open only weekdays, but he is busy trying to wrap up other things and hopes to be open on the weekends soon. Everything was very nice, well organized. It can be used as an event space.”
“A hidden gem for glass art enthusiasts! The gallery features a great variety of local glass art, and the studio offers lots of glass classes from beginner to advanced!”
“Great shop! Creative and fun! Best money you’ll spend on your art, photos, etc.
Everyone there has a talent for framing. Never realized the options available until I was introduced to this shop. We’ve been going to them for at least a decade now.”
“Lovely gallery, I am so glad we went in. Truthfully the paintings I spotted from the door drew me. The prices range from high to low, so there is something for all budgets if you are looking to purchase art. We got a great 12x12 piece for under 300 and it was well packed for us to travel with. (Shipping was an option). The gallery is like a mini museum with the main room, a back room, and an upstairs. Well air conditioned, well lit, with seating. We especially loved the gentleman (Angel) working there- he was so very kind and patient. We are so excited to hang our new piece. We also learned some fun info about some of the art from Angel. Thanks again!”
“Awesome gallery, very knowledgeable on the artists, Very professional, great website, excellent framing is also available, large stable of artists in every price point.”
“Zack is true professional. He created a relaxed environment and was super easy to work with. The line of communication was always open, he was quick to respond and understood exactly what I needed, and he delivered the assets in promptly and efficiently. Zack's professionalism and artistry produced photos that were everything I asked for and more! A++.”
