“I use the weight and cardio machines at the Y five days a week but have never taken a class there or used the pool or the tennis courts. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and I love the bright, cheerful atmosphere inside the building. The high ceilings and clerestory windows, plus the open floor plan, give the facility an airy, spacious feeling. Another reviewer commented that the building is sometimes cold. That is true, probably because heated air tends to rise to the high ceiling. Most days you can see some patrons exercising in shorts while others are wearing full sweatsuits including hoods. So different people have different temperature preferences. It's easy to keep a sweatshirt in your gym bag.”
