“So with COVID going on, I believe the lobby is closed. I went down Carpenter this morning and saw that the drive thru was full. Let's say about five cars in the small drive way, and four more sitting on Carpenter.In the time it took for car number eight to get into the small driveway, I:-Sat for about ten minutes then,-Decided to download the mobile app-Incorrectly put in my password about five times-Reset my password-Failed an attempt to successfully deposit my check-Took more pictures and then succeeded on my second try to deposit the check.5/5 stars for finally convincing me that mobile deposit is the way to go and keeping me from pulling into that drive thru.”
“I'm new to credit union banking. I particularly like the numerous ATM's I can access my money from. One issue though, for some strange reason, efcu does not transact through moneygram. I have family and children that I often send money to. So far I am unable to send to them. I can't use western union, they are exorbitant.2. It is now 2023, I've now been with efcu a few years. The experience is ok, nothing standing out, just regular banking. The service in comparable to services provided by a standard bank except there are a few pros and cons. Ie, efcu is part of a network of credit unions that share ATMs and have agreement with other ATM provider so it members don't have to pay to use the ATMs. Efcu also refunds ATM fees if you have to use an ATM that is not part of the network. They also give monetary credits for using their debit cards and ATMs. They will also negotiate on your behalf if you let them when buying a vehicle or a home. One negative which might be a non-factor for many is that since efcu is local and very small, making international transactions is a little complex.”
