Lowes in Augusta, ME is usually pretty chill. Staff is usually friendly, including the returns people, and overall good experience. Shoppers can find products quickly; one shopper bought an Ego leaf blower and moved mountains of leaves from a good location. The store is convenient but has spotty, slow cell service and WiFi, so shoppers should research aisles before arriving. Inventory is sometimes lacking variety and common sizes, and staff can seem disengaged and uninterested, suggesting a management issue. Yet many associates know categories of supplies down to aisle and bay number, and great staff are nice and know where everything is.
Lowe's cost a couple more bucks than home Depot but the staff there is better they don't assume you're stealing everything in the rake section

When I was finally able to catch a employee they were a great help as well as the other employees that had talked to were great as well. Made it a better experience than normally had in the stores like this.

They are less expensive than home depot and more variety in a lot of items.
