“I’ve been a regular customer at Gurnet Rd Advanced for years and I can’t say enough good about the store. From inventory to product knowledge to general customer service, this team has always been excellent to do business with. Nice to see a store manager who truly steps up to provide the best service and attitude to everyone, customers and employees.Only complaint I have is the open hours. This store, along with most others in the area, hardly do any business after 6pm. Brunswick is a ghost town Sunday-Thursday after 5-5:30, when people pass through on their way home from work. Many local restaurants don’t even open their doors mondays; China rose buffet, Joshua’s restaurant, Bangkok Garden… with management knowledge and experience in another Cook’s Corner business, I just don’t understand how the store finds it financially responsible to remain open until 7pm, let alone 8pm.There’s not enough business in Brunswick after dark for these guys to stay open..”
“I had an odd sized battery that I needed to order online. Unfortunately, these batteries are now delivered without acid in them. I went to NAPA looking for acid and advice on how to put it in the battery, not having done this before. Vern not only took my battery and put the acid in it himself, (a potentially nasty job) but he also put it on a trickle charger for me and it was ready and charged the next day. They wouldn't take payment for the extra help either. Great customer service!! Thank you!!”
“Been going to this store for seven years since moving to Maine. Why? Because they know their stuff and are super nice. Even when I was a new customer they called me Sir and said thank you before I walked out.I'm writing this on a cold December day and it's 20 degrees. I called the store for a new car battery. Well guess what? Not only was it in store but they will replace my old one by taking it out.Good people will always get my business.”

“Went in to buy a low beam bulb for my car. They sold me a high beam bulb that looks very similar and will work briefly until it burns out. When I brought it back in to replace it I was met with a lot of skepticism and told that it wasn’t even one of their bulbs. After lots of explaining to multiple people and lot of computer sleuthing they returned the broken high bulb and I was then handed a loose halogen bulb with no packaging after just being told that my bulb burned out because I touched it. After pointing that out they gave me a ziplock bag.I have had lots of positive experiences here in the past, this was not one of them.”
