“My wife and I have always loved going to the Co-op in Belfast. The selection is great but we have noticed a sharp increase in their pricing. Items that are also sold at Hannaford's are remarkably higher at the co-op, such as Rao's bolognese sauce. It's 10.99 at the co-op and 8.99 at Hannaford's, same brand, same 24 Oz. jar. $2.00 more?
We love the luncheon sandwiches they sell, they used to be a good size made on ciabatta for $11.99-$13.99 and are now made on a much smaller slice of french baguette for the exact same pricing. Much smaller sandwiches that are overpriced for what they are.
And the floral arrangements sold in the produce section are beautiful but 6 tulip stems for $23.99, really?
We totally understand that everything has gone up these days, but not that much....
Sadly we won't be shopping there often in the future.”
“In the entire time Dollar General has been at this Belfast location, I've never seen it look so good! Thanks to the hard work, and dedication of LaTisha Robert's, it's now a store I enjoy shopping in! It's become cleaner, well stocked, and better organized! 5 stars now, because it was a wreck before!”
“We like to get a take out on the weekend and the last few weeks our go to has become Belfast Variety on High Street. The Italian’s are amazing they are filled. This location is much better than the other location in filling the sandwiches.”
“They were stocking everything and I had to get the fruit stocker to open a box of apples for me, he was very helpful and polite. The deli staff were very helpful also! Nice store”
“What a great store all around but! new to the pharmacy. The person who answered the phone (2nd ring) was very helpful and well informed. Glad I have a new pharmacy!!”
“Owner is a nice guy and willing to provide whatever his customers want (with in reason). Spouse requested an item and he happily started ordering said item. Also pizza is pretty good and one of the few local businesses that don't overcharge for there services.”
