“I was in a couple weeks ago with my wife and found a pair of Keen’s that I had been looking for, love them. My wife commented on how she liked John’s shoes, cool looking Pikolinos. John said he’d just was we for the second time and they were like slippers! They didn’t have my size but they ordered them for me and sent to me in Wisconsin. Shoes arrived late last week and I wore them last evening and John was spot on, like wearing slippers. Everyone should stop in the Shoebox when their in Kennebunkport, you’ll be happy you did!!! BT”
“We were having a difficult time finding toddler sandals. We went to multiple shops around Portland with no luck. Lamey not only had great brands (Keens, Teva, Crocs etc) but they had toddler sizes and many color & style options. The staff was very helpful when we called. They even set aside pairs for us to try when we arrived. Recommend this location!!”
“Didn’t catch the guys name at the counter but he was super dope. Was gonna buy a hoodie and he recommended that I try it on first. Lot of similar places won’t let ya do that. Hoodie fit and I was happy with my purchase.”

“Obsessed with this place! I have a bag and multiple wallets. This is my go to gift for friends. I've had my bag for over a year and it's stayed in great shape. Such a unique bag that makes me feel like I always have a piece of Maine with me! They usually have sales around holidays so look for 10-30% off. You can also order online! I almost forgot - I have a pair of their keds sneakers that I get so many compliments on. I love supporting this local business.”

“The best shoe store I've ever shopped in. Staff were pleasant, but Aaron went above and beyond, trying to get running shoes that would fit my wide feet. A great salesman and a super guy. Shopping there was 1 of the 2 or 3 highlights of my Maine vacation. Too bad South Portland wasn't closer to my home in Nova Scotia.”
“Shoes are decently priced for name brands. Kohls is similarly priced or tends to be cheaper, so theres competition there. Good sales on shoes. I like to wear scrub pants, but too expensive. Too bad because they have just what Ive been looking for in a comfy work pant. The purses are very nice. Ive purchased a few.”
“I recently went to FF and my experience was terrific!! Marissa was a HUUUGE help I was looking for a pair of taffy pink crocs so I called ahead and at first they said they didn’t have the crocs and 10 minutes later I get a call from Marissa telling me she found the crocs I was so excited and I really appreciate Marissa’s effort to helping me out finding my crocs!!! Thank you so much Marissa you made my day!!!”
“There was plenty of stock. Lots of good buys. I did find the store to be a bit of a mess despite it being early in the day, but I am sure that's due to a shortage of staff.”
“They didn't have the size of shoe I needed in store to trade in with the ones I bought from them online. So the associate called all the way to TEXAS to get the size I needed and had them shipped to the store for me to pick up. The Jordan 12's sold out EVERYWHERE quick in grey and white! Definitely greatful he made the calls to find them for me in the size I needed! He went above and beyond. I wish I could remember his name but Thank you thank you thank you!”

“The store is managed very attentively. The inventory is well displayed and organized meticulously, so well that it clearly isn't a child's play area of grab and throw shopping spree type bargain bin purveyor. I like the eclectic artistic graphic design of the product, that is neuveax contemporary angst, yet fresh and stylish. Not necessarily mainstream, and yet not "dirty grunge," kid stuff either. Just a quick glance won't reveal the treasures you might miss judging the book by its cover; it's worth the time to delve in to investigate a more diverse wardrobe selection.”

“The cashier there has been there a few yrs. Always super helpful and welcoming. I wish the stores had more inventory but its the same everywhere. Prices are sometimes cheaper online so check that. Also they always have coupons in flyers so take advantage of those when you can.”
