“The Lord Camden Inn far exceeded our expectations! The staff at the front desk were lovely and Ana offered great tips on things to do around the area, circled spots on maps, etc. She was delightful and so welcoming!
Rooms were well appointed, and the shower heads/water pressure were fantastic! We had a view overlooking the river which offered a tranquil escape after a day of exploring the charming Camden harbor. This hotel staff truly goes to great lengths to welcome their visitors. We saw furry friend welcome signs complete with water bowls and treat jars. My daughter received a whole booklet of coloring pages, crayons, a sweet note and a handmade teddy bear. The Lord Camden Inn adds that extra special touch that makes you feel welcome (even full water carafes already set up in room). They have thought of everything! The breakfast on site was also exceptional and the overall location to shops and restaurants is walkable. We only wish we would have stayed longer on our visit!”

“The Belmont Inn is the perfect location for a Camden stay. The inn is quiet on a quaint street just a few blocks from the waterfront and downtown. Each morning, we were served a fabulous breakfast of homemade pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and an egg dish such as salmon frittata. Kim was a wonderful engaging host. We loved the personal touch and will definitely be staying here again.”

“We selected the Norumbega for accomodations during our first trip to the Camden area. The building is stately and impressive, certainly providing that vacation/special occasion feel we often look for when traveling. The interior is lovely and the rooms all unique. We were greeted by Abby, who provided a thorough and informative check-in experience, and continued to interact with her for the first few days of our visit. About half way through our time at the property, we met Brett, one of the owners. Brett was an exceptional host, who was both professional and personable, creating an experience that felt like visiting an old friend. The other thing I will mention in that the breakfasts were fabulous. Each breakfast was honestly the best meals we had during our entire trip. As far as location of the property, some people have expressed concern about it being further outside of town, but it is really only a 10 minute walk down a lovely road with sidewalks on both sides. This location also offers a little sanctuary from the bustle of downtown. We would recommend.”

“My wife and have been coming for years. It’s our favorite weekend getaway. Come to relax, don’t come for entertainment or are looking for activities. It’s a beautiful place to unwind.”

“I love staying here! It is so close to town without being busy or loud at all, there’s a stream right below the window that lulls you to sleep every night, the staff is very kind and helpful, there’s a full shared kitchen and dining room which can be hard to find. Highly recommend to anyone coming through town.”

“Whitehall Inn in Camden, ME was the perfect accommodation for our girls trip weekend. Our first-floor room had two single beds and bathroom, and while small, it worked well as our basecamp. Favorite parts: 24hr coffee bar, chocolate cookies in the afternoon, robes, convenient breakfast, outdoor seating at the fire pit out back and the chairs on the porch, plus great location to walk into Camden. We liked that our room was tidied daily and we were given fresh towels.

Areas of opportunity: full length mirror, more lighting in the room by the mirror on the wall to do make-up, more hangers in the closet, more shelves or hooks to put or hang things, space in the bathroom and shower to put things, dial back the fragrance as it was a bit over powering.

All in all, we were so very impressed and only sharing these few pieces of feedback to really kick it up a few notches.”
