“This was such a charming place, and in a great location too! It offered a little nostalgia, but with updated features and amenities. It was situated perfectly between Rockport, Camden, and Rockland, so there was plenty to do within a 5-10 min drive, and it had a wonderful view overlooking the water. It also offered a great little breakfast, plenty of towels & pillows, a private deck, and it was very clean! The WiFi was a little spotty, but since we were there to relax and unwind, this was the least of our worries! It was a great little place! I highly recommend!”

“The Lord Camden Inn far exceeded our expectations! The staff at the front desk were lovely and Ana offered great tips on things to do around the area, circled spots on maps, etc. She was delightful and so welcoming!
Rooms were well appointed, and the shower heads/water pressure were fantastic! We had a view overlooking the river which offered a tranquil escape after a day of exploring the charming Camden harbor. This hotel staff truly goes to great lengths to welcome their visitors. We saw furry friend welcome signs complete with water bowls and treat jars. My daughter received a whole booklet of coloring pages, crayons, a sweet note and a handmade teddy bear. The Lord Camden Inn adds that extra special touch that makes you feel welcome (even full water carafes already set up in room). They have thought of everything! The breakfast on site was also exceptional and the overall location to shops and restaurants is walkable. We only wish we would have stayed longer on our visit!”
“My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and had an absolutely fantastic time. The room and views are gorgeous, the staff is super friendly, and the food each morning was incredible. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. For the honeymoon, it was the perfect location. Maine and the surrounding areas are lovely, but The Norumbega was certainly the attraction.”

“The room was clean, but could have used a bit of maintenance. The door was difficult to lock and we were intermittently without water.
The staff were friendly, but for a very negative interaction with the gentleman delivering our breakfast the last day. Of course that's the last thing I remember about the place. The young man who delivered our breakfast the first two days was incredibly friendly and hard working. A rarity among teenagers these days.
The location is great, nice spacious grounds with great views of the ocean. Lots of activities to keep you busy during the downtime. There were lots of vacancies on this part of the coast even during the holiday weekend. Plenty of places to choose from.”

“Amazing experience, highly recommend.
Beautiful building, the room was comfortable, clean and had the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and informative on the area. Breakfast was lovely every morning, don’t skip the yogurt! An easy drive to the coast, several towns and parks so it was easy to explore Maine.
Spectacular restaurant for dinner on site …make reservations early as they filled up quickly, best meal I’ve had in a long time.
Can’t say enough about what a pleasant environment they’ve created.”

“The Belmont Inn is the perfect location for a Camden stay. The inn is quiet on a quaint street just a few blocks from the waterfront and downtown. Each morning, we were served a fabulous breakfast of homemade pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and an egg dish such as salmon frittata. Kim was a wonderful engaging host. We loved the personal touch and will definitely be staying here again.”
“The staff was very friendly and the Inn was on a beautiful property which offers scenic views. Our room was quite large but the TV was quite small, may 30 inches, and the bathroom outdated without a walk in shower. Would have been good for a bath though. Good deal for the money though.”

It is so close to town without being busy or loud at all, there’s a stream right below the window that lulls you to sleep every night, the staff is very kind and helpful, there’s a full shared kitchen and dining room which can be hard to find. Highly recommend to anyone coming through town.”
