A quick, easy stop that's efficient for my "filler" grocery stops. I enjoy the fact you see young people working in the community. Could it have a little improvement with customer service? Sure, I guess but that's what comes with teenagers getting their first jobs- at least they're learning for their future. Good selection of food and I like the local products that are available.”

“So this place should be 5 star when it comes to Maine but I'm just someone who comes from the best pizza New Haven and Boston but this pizza was really good I like how the flour is unbleached! It's the best pizza I had in Maine so far and I tried a decent amount of places! It gets a Decent 8.2! For Maine that's like a 9.2!”

“Cute little place. I'm not from the area and was looking for a local place to stop in. It's a great little market with soup, sandwiches, and other semi prepared food you can take home and cook. Looks like they also have an impressive wine selection. As a tourist, I was looking for a lobster roll. I was not disappointed. It was great. The man taking orders, who seemed to be the owner, was super friendly and kind. The woman preparing most of the food, was equally friendly. Everyone that came in appeared to be a local and was known by the owner. Lots of compliments by everyone on the food. This is not a place for a fancy dinner, but if you want a a good meal made right, this is the place. I plan to be in Portland somewhat often and will visit this place again. It's worth the 15 minute drive from the hotel.”

“Pat’s Meat Market is the only place I like to buy our meat at. They are so friendly and helpful. They told me how I could cook a few cuts I wasn’t familiar with. I’ve never had a bad experience here, all employees are excellent, knowledgeable butchers. They even grind Hamburg fresh for you. So impressed every time. The guys near the register offer to carry the boxes out to the car. Feels oldschool in a great way”

“So far from my native lands, I've struggled with an inability to find real comida Latina in Maine. This store does not check all of my requisite boxes and I was mysteriously unable to find stuff like soft corn tortillas (at Shaws and Hannaford's you are lucky to get some flour tortillas in a plastic bag), but I did find most of everything else I needed. It's a tiny store, but chock full-- everything ranging from your basic Goya or American-Latino products to more exotic imports.”

“Fine hotel dining served fresh! Easily the best, sweetest and least expensive lobster we had on our vacation.We snagged 4 lobsters and the deli steamed them for free in about 20 minutes. Once back at the hotel we microwaved a stick of butter and went to town. The lobsters were steamed perfectly.Grocery store, itself, was clean and layout was easy to find what we needed.”

“They came through for us with a special Father's Day purchase! Sweet & Savory was at the Farmer's Market pre Covid but had not been for a few years. Fortunately a vendor came through and mentioned that they can be found at Lois' Natural Market down the street. Needless to say, we purchased them all as well as a few other treats that interested us.”

“I would say Moran's meets expectations. It's a small local spot with your typical deli/quick service options. There is some outside seating for when it's nice out. I had the small salami Italian for lunch. It wasn't as loaded with ingredients as I would've expected, but it was tasty and fresh. The bread was really good. I'd order lunch here again for something quick and easy, and I hear the pizza is good, so that's something to try in the future. Maybe I'd take off half a star just because there aren't a ton of choices, but it gets the job done in a pinch.”

“We bought soft shell medium live lobsters, they were 11.99 a pound today. They were extremely lively, fresh and delicious. Flesh was pretty firm and filled within the shells. The service staff was extremely helpful and explained size and hard shell vs soft shell to us. The shop was clean”

“We love this little market! Out of the many markets we've been to, this is by far one of the cleanest, most well-organized, and friendliest. It's on the smaller side, but we always find what we need and have never been disappointed. The team is always very kind and helpful, and will even help you find what you need for your recipe, and make their own helpful ingredient suggestions, which is appreciated! They even carry many different sizes of mortars and pestles for making bok lahong and such! Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already!”

“I'm a little apprehensive to give such a positive review of this store for fear of ruining one of my favorites elements of it- it's hardly ever packed!! Don't get me wrong, people surely shop here, but it never feels like it's overly crowded like some of the other Hannaford locations in the area can. The store is always very clean and it has several self checkout registers. I actually drive past the Millcreek store to go over here because it's worth it to me.”
