“Certainly one of the best accommodations in the Brunswick area. We chose it at the last minute and were fortunate to get a room with a queen bed and folding bed sofa. The folding bed was a bit small for a large adult but it worked for one night. The view was great, Bailey Island is a treat and the breakfast of french toast and sides was excellent! The staff and host were tops and the bathroom was fantastic according to my daughter! When we left I found a few apples on my car that had fallen from a tree we parked under. I saved them to eat later and they were also very good!”

“BRIDES!!! If you're looking for a unique one-of-a kind experience for your wedding and your guests, STOP looking. The Inn on Peaks Island is the perfect blend of elopement vibes vs. traditional. Our little husband and wife team shot photography and videography for a wedding here in May and the staff was unbelievable. Every little detail was thought of and absolutely stunning! We can’t wait to document our next wedding on the island!”

“One of the best memories of our trip is staying at the driftwood. What a location! And the food! And the lady at the front desk!
Unfortunately we only had 1 night there and it was a doozy. The wind was blowing 25mph all night and with the high tide made it quite noisy. What an experience!”

“Bare bones and decent value for a roadside inn. Easy parking, workable wifi, and a hot shower. Plus for a nice frozen custard spot up the road as well as a lovely brewery/restaurant across the street. Easy striking distance to L.L. Bean-dom up the road in Freeport.”

“Nice big room, showers were hot, coffee in the office was fresh and delicious. Hallways had a bit of an odd smell. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.”
“This is not a four star hotel, a good three. The issue is it has a five star restaurant with top notch service. The hotel rooms are basic, well executed with nice beds and artwork, but more northwoods cabin-like than upscale hotel. This is a seasonal hotel with no heat or a/c in the rooms. No dresser for clothes in most rooms. No housekeeping even after 4 days. Lovely location and warm rustic atmosphere in the dining and first floor great room. Staff was very helpful and friendly on site. Hard to make phone contact with the front desk. Great porch space. WiFi is good. The restaurant is the reason to come. Interesting, well executed menu. Really nice selection of cocktails. Remember closes mid-October.”
