“For our smallest grocer in town, Food city is great. There are a lot of time I’m looking for something unique and I can find it (or similar) here, even before the big name stores in town.
Folks are always courteous and pleasant”
“The Mexico store is closer but I try to go to the Farmington Walmart instead because of the difference in experiences and quality of employees and items. I always have a good experience at Farmington EXCEPT for people who park in the reserved pickup spaces and go into the store.”
“Went in for the first time and was AMAZED by the selection of craft beers, they have EVERYTHING you didn't even know existed. It was awesome! Friendly staff as well, will be going back!”
“We tried the pizza at Whistlestop today. The Hamburg and onion had an amazing amount of cheese and loved the nuance of red onion. The pepperoni pizza was perfect! My favorite! We have a new pizza spot...thank you, Patrick and Harry.”
“I have been to quite a few different Hannaford stores in Maine, and I definitely think this is one of the best. I have shopped here off and on over the past 20 years, and consistently the staff overall are very helpful and pleasant. It is always clean and well organized. Hannaford does a good job with carrying some Maine made products and locally sourced food like Maine haddock and Maine potatoes. They have an amazing variety of choices. Hannaford thankfully stocks some nice dairy free items that Wal Mart does not carry. Unfortunately, Hannaford’s prices have increased again, so I have been buying more in Wal Mart as their prices are a bit better, and they carry a couple kinds of gluten free breads that are actually edible. This is helpful for people like me with food allergies who like sandwiches! If Hannaford carried good gluten free bread and could be more competitive in their prices, I would get all my grocery items there. This Hannaford in Farmington is hands down one of my favorite grocery stories. Obviously under good management.”
