I got two 30lb tanks i was paing $24 each. I filled them for a cookout on 6/10 it cost me $84 for both. Is what it it is.”

“This is long overdue praise for BH&G. Most recently I brought my Gravely zero-turn to them for a fluid leak. Luckily, it ended up being an easier fix than I expected but they didn't take advantage of that. They quickly fixed it with a very minimal bill.The Laffelys have been taking care of me for as long as I can remember. This place has been in business forever and that's a great testament to the ownership and management here.They've helped me with a number of things; from simple blade sharpening, to me buying my Gravely from them, to them helping me find parts for a used bagging system that I didn't even get from them (a buddy gave it to me). This is the type of service you get from a small town, locally owned and operated business.They're honest, knowledgeable and fair and I highly recommend them.Keep it local”

“Home Depot’s strength are the wonderful and helpful staff. Topsham excels. This is what saved this from a three star rating. I had a cart full of items, went through self pay and then found out there’s no Apply pay. No signs, no warning. Was directed to customer service where confusion reigned. All major stores take virtual payment. Home Depot has to figure this out or I will be forced to head to Lowe’s after 20 years.”

“It's Home Depot. It's the same essentially at any Home Depot in the US. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who's working and how experienced they are. Better to know what you're looking for and research in advance for time efficiency. Always convenient to have Home Depot and Lowe's just a short drive away for home projects and repairs. What we did years ago without them I don't know.”

“5 years ago, I believed this was one of the worst retail stores in the country. Out of total necessity and convenience, I've returned numerous times for unavoidable reasons. It has become an average store, which almost makes it's worth 5 stars. It seems management has changed, and/or the store has cleaned up a lot. We'll done!(Posted in 2018)I've been a lowes customer since graduate school, 15+ years. Over that course of time, I've renovated 3 homes. I initially went to lowes because it was convenient. Eventually, I picked up a store card, which gave 5% off. I've loved the program but have finally become fed up with the company - this store has exceptionally bad service.One occasion, I walked out with a loaded cart full of stuff. When I placed the stuff in my vehicle, I noticed I was missing two large boxes of screws. I told the cashier who no doubt gave them to the next customer. 40 minutes later, with customer service, I was told they had me on video placing them in my truck. I drive a BMW.Most recently, I received $20 off coupon. They said it had already been redeemed. It had not been used. Also- the coupon clearly stated "one coupon per transaction."The people here are rude, and management seems to hide behind the phone. I've been put off lately by Lowe's in general. New stringent policies and/or corporate changes are obviously affecting the staff. I've canceled my store card and have decided that the slightly higher costs at Home Depot are worth the service + selection.”

“Ordered a 20' fiberglass Louisville extension ladder - my bad, too short. Phone call to Black Bear - arrange for return/upgrade to 24' Lousiville. No re-stocking fee - charged the difference between the two ladders and a delivery fee. Unbelievably reasonable!!! I wrapped the 20' ladder in tarp to protect it from rain/weather until it could be returned. Delivery of 24 footer today - absolutely perfect!!As for prices ? I shopped and shopped - Black Bear prices were lower, period! I could not find a step - ladder with a paint tray - IF, there was a gripe, that would be it. Let me be clear - no gripes - could not be more pleased. Thank you. Excellent experience!!”
