“Have been here before as this place has a lot of nice salvage pieces. Specialize in old doors, windows, vintage hardware, mantles, corbels etc. They also have some interesting antique pieces. Place is not cheap !! Had a few items interested in but felt they were over priced. If renovating an old house or adding some character you might want to check this place out. It is definitely worth a visit. Still interested in going back for a piece ??”
“Definitely worth the stop! We drove past and I made my boyfriend turn around. Decorated so cute both inside and outside. If you are looking for furniture this is definitely the place. So many beautiful pieces of furniture that they make. A bit pricey but worth the investment and would last forever. They also have many beautiful antiques and decor. We will definitely be back!”
“I've been to this place many a time with my boyfriend. This is a multi-vendor store with everything from antiques, candles, trading cards, dvds, books, artwork, and more. You never know what you might find so it is hit or miss. We have encountered some unpleasant staff in the past, but also some great ones as well. Definitely worth a stop in to browse around.”
“A place that has something for everyone and for a great cause. It is my must stop every visit. A cheerful and friendly staff and the happy cats makes the experience stand out from the regular thrift shop.”

“If you're a serious antique-er you need to stop here. We were visiting from out of state and didn't find a treasure we had to have. The prices are a bit steep but admittedly everything is expensive these days. There are 4 floors to browse. Evrything from books, ethinic and indigenous, material and quilt tops, dishes and toys. Allow enough time. Pleasant staff.”
“The Shoppes at Cape Neddick is my first stop when searching for a gift or something special for my home. The ladies, each with a separate shoppe under one roof, are terrific. One can find distinctive and carefully selected pottery, woodwork, artwork, custom furniture, antiques, hand-knitted items, toys, costal items, etc. for the home or for one's business. Jeanne, the owner, is happy to help you find anything you need even if that involves a deeper search. In addition to being a great place to find a variety of wonderful items, it is a relaxing place to visit. The store is airy, colorful, vibrant, and fragrant. It has the feel of a museum with so many different things catching your eye and pulling you away from something else of great interest. I have bought dozens of gifts and items for my home at the Shoppes. It is my favorite place in York to shop and just visit.”
“Went here during our vacation and was surprised by what they had in stock, it was a little of everything but mainly cat and dog stuff and at such reasonable prices too! The owner was very nice and pleasant, we loved shopping here, the space was small but it was worth it. As a lover of small businesses I would recommend this place for your animal lovers gifts and more! If we ever return we will be going back!”
“A neat place to find some cool antiques. You can find things here from the 1800s to the 1980s. They have a variety of antiques to choose from cloths to tools to jewelery to furniture”

“We discovered Anytime Antiques on a recent vacation in Wells, Maine in July. A great find! The man who was working the counter both times that I went in was absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. Customer service makes an experience, and I enjoyed shopping here because of this. Clean, beautifully arranged dealer spaces. I wish I lived closer, as it was my small car was packed with delightful and well-priced finds from here on the long drive home.”

“Absolutely wonderful antique store! Tons of beautiful antiques with lots of rooms and buildings to check out. The owners are so kind and helpful, and the prices are shockingly reasonable for York”
“My wife and I were driving back through Maine and we had stopped at a number of Antique shops that day, it was the end of the day and we almost missed the Farm being slightly off Route 1, boy am I glad that we did not! The farm is a gorgeous house all set out with fantastic antiques. We arrived shortly before they closed and Hannah was so kind and gracious, she said we could keep looking even after hours. Both my wife and I are novices when it comes to antiques and Hannah was so patient with us and explained everything about different periods and showed us many different options. Not only are all the antiques beautiful but we had a wonderful shopping experience with Hannah. I could not recommend the Farm highly enough and definitely worth a visit. We will be back!”

“Queen Anne’s Lace is one of my favorite destination shops in Wells, Maine or even the whole sea coast and I especially enjoy visiting with the shop ownr Joanne.
She is a little zany and eccentric and does tell stories about her inventory and her properties but that’s what I like, she’s not boring and snooty like most other shop owners in the area, she’s very personable! Her life stories are incredible!
Over the years I’ve purchased many coveted treasures here, some antiques, some not.. and that’s okay, she has a vast variety of merchandise between her locations, she has something for everyone.
I especially like her no cell phones in the store policy.. after all who wants to hear ringing phones and other peoples conversations while shopping.. I don’t and I’m sure she doesn’t either. As far as “hating kids” as stated in the other reviews… probably not the case… maybe she just doesn’t want them handling and fouling up her merchandise. She only takes cash.. no problem with that either.
Personally I’m surprised to read all the hateful reviews of Queen Anne’s Lace, because I highly recommend this shop and shop fabulous owner! Thanks for offering such amazing finds at such affordable prices, Joanne! I’ll be in for a visit soon!”
“Had a great time here in late July. Joanne must either have been home that day or she is no longer around. A friend and I were not even in Maine to go to antique stores. But I asked if she minded if we made one stop! We ended up going into 4 shops here. A couple were closed. Turns out 3 of the 4 are relatives. First met a very nice older gentlemen who was friendly and shared great stories on items I was interested in or asked questions about. Another store was owned by his sister who was just as friendly. Third store was being ‘manned’ by the previous womens daughter. All had great things to look at. Bought a few small things but thoroughly enjoyed the owners company. My girlfriend even said ‘this is fun’. We should come again when we have more time. The last store had equally great things but had items that were not antiques just looked it, and were asking some very unreasonable prices. There were two women working in this store and I think it was the building furthest to the right. Beware in there. But they were still very pleasant. Some prices were high….but the items could have been worth it. The items I was interested in were all reasonable. Definitely no bargains but that doesn’t mean the items were not worth it. You just need to know your stuff or feel good about the price based on what you do know. I plan to head back up in October and can’t wait!!!!”
“Was there today to see if my necklace which is a cremation necklace could be fixed was so tangled .. not only did they fix it the 3 ladies there I felt like I have known my whole life made new friends today”
