“Bakery manager literally went above and beyond. Someone had made a small mistake and she frosted and decorated a birthday cake in record time. The cake was absolutely delicious, just what I ordered, perfectly decorated and too top it off she was absolutely friendly the entire time, had a “let me help” with a customer service with a smile attitude. You are a gem and I can’t thank you enough.”

“Best place for organic and local and natural products that you can trust the ingredients. Usually great service and pretty big selection for a small joint! They have bulk seasonings and flours, legumes and beans, some bulk snacks, oats and granolas. Local sourced bread, local source vegetables, local sorced dairy. They have a section of vitamins and DIY kits for beer, sprouts, jams, kombucha, and more! They also have a really cool cafe to the right of the store as you walk in, they usually serve daily soups and sandwiches and they always have some sort of salad made! I highly recommend checking this place out! Sometimes they feature local artists too!”
“The lobster is here full and pretty inexpensive actually, just so you know they can actually stain for you in the store as well. Lots of good options to choose from when it comes to whatever you’re looking for. The staff is friendly. In fact, this is one of the first supermarkets I’ve seen in the northern states where they actually return cards to the car return instead of just leave them all over the parking lot so good for you Maine, keep up the good work.”

The meats here are incredible at great prices!
They have sliced cheese by the pound and if you need bigger quantities they have that too.
Famous red hot dogs and locally made in Bangor. Too many items to mention .
I just ❤ the old style butcher store . We don’t have enough of these and so glad that there is one as great WA Bean & Sons since 1860! I read its history and am just amazed . Why buy in supermarket where chicken breast are soaked in broth so they weigh more when you can come here and get natural chicken breasts at same price. You got me.

“Seems like a fine grocery store. In fact, this grocery store seems to be more of like the public of the south. Just really Cleaning has options. The lobster tank was almost overflowing with lobster so that was cool. Lots of different sources for anything you need.”

“My daughter is moving to the area so I went to check out the stores. I was impressed by the quality and selection. Prices were on par with the rest of the country. Significant local products. Very good produce, meat and seafood departments. Beer and wine selections were great, but then, this is a college town!”

“I feel like this grocery store is a little larger than the Hannaford in Bangor with a large selection. The pharmacy is a lot more friendly here as well and very helpful. I prefer this store but don't go here often only because it is out of my normal path of travel.”

“For grocery store this is one of my favorite places to go. To be honest I don't go here often but it's only because it is out of my normal route of travel so the convenience isn't there for more but it is in a very convenient location for most people. This store has more option than most and a lot of really good deals. They also have an excellent choice have pre-made hot meals ready to go. There is plenty of parking, the place is very organized and just a great plane in general to get groceries. They also have some sort of membership plan that you can sign up for for free to get extra discounts.”

I have been using this pharmacy for years, and have always loved the interactions and service I have experience. However, the other night, my son had an ear infection, and I left Convenient MD (maybe a mile down the road from the pharmacy) and when I got to the counter Grace was finishing up my script for antibiotics! I was more than impressed!”
“Have shopped here since Tosiers closed. Good selection and prices. My only concern is that for some reason, the meat is consistently poorly wrapped. Perhaps the butcher could use some training in the intricacies of using saran wrap. If meat packages consistently leak, -and they do, something is being done improperly. This isn't just an annoyance, but raises concerns about cleanliness and cross contamination. Please please please address this issue.”
“I compare prices from other local stores they are a bit expensive and I only shop there atleast twice. For a bag a rice, oil. The employees didn't really have a welcoming smile? I canceled my membership after a year.”
