The Press Hotel is a fantastic boutique hotel in downtown Portland. It is a very cool conversion of an old newspaper building into a modern hotel, with design details that match the building's heritage. The interior is trendy, chic, and expertly curated, with lots of references to newspapers and typewriters.
It has an ideal, walkable location near everything downtown Portland has to offer, including restaurants, boutique shops, and the waterfront boardwalk. The hotel features a great bar and an attached restaurant, with excellent cocktail options. The rooms are modern, newly renovated, and comfortably appointed, though some note they can be on the smaller side due to the historic building. The staff is friendly and incredibly hospitable, providing excellent service. While generally praised, some minor feedback notes occasional maintenance points like fraying carpets. Overall, it offers a cool Portland downtown vibe and is considered one of the most beautiful hotels in the state.

Great location! Super cute hotel, great vibe. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, can be a bit noisy at night with the street noise. Employees are very helpful. Would totally recommend.
