“My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and had an absolutely fantastic time. The room and views are gorgeous, the staff is super friendly, and the food each morning was incredible. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. For the honeymoon, it was the perfect location. Maine and the surrounding areas are lovely, but The Norumbega was certainly the attraction.”

“In all seriousness, if you're seeking the warm hospitality of the South and the unique charm of the Maine coast, this is the ideal location.
The location is perfectly situated steps from downtown and the harbor areas. Everything is within a 15-minute walk. Most are 5 -7mins away. Great restaurants nearby. AMAZING tours of the bay by sailing ships, aka schooners. Perfect base to explore so many other small towns and the incredible foliage.
An absolutely gorgeous B&B, with perhaps the most engaging and charming host, Kim. Everything that we experienced was done with the utmost attention to the personal touch. The rooms are excellent, both spacious and comfortable. Copious amounts of detail and charm at every turn within the house. The guests are treated more like family and friends.
I could write much more; however, the p point is that of the many locations that I've visited, this is a top 5 in my guide.
Please stop and visit for the most spectacular stay.”

“Upon arrival, we immediately felt welcomed. Nick was the desk clerk and he was just amazing throughout our entire stay. We had a small internet problem the first night and the staff went above and beyond measure to correct it. The hotel gave us a small discount when we checked out for our inconvenience. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a balcony room. Our view was like looking at a postcard and our room was so very comfortable. The hotel provided "real" coffee cups and glass water and wine glasses. They also provided a large bottle of water in our room and comfortable robes. The furnishings and decor was just simply perfect, mixing old world design with modern. The hotel is located in the middle of everything in Camden. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast everyday with other hotel guests and enjoyed chatting with others in the morning during coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and we felt welcomed and special by the staff throughout our entire stay. Staying at 16 Bayview was a delight and a highlight of our trip to Camden.”

“Absolute excellence in all areas. Brett made our reservations smoothly. Food and drinks were outstanding. Castle is a sight to behold, and it was magical to dine on one of the terraces. Shirley our waitress was not only professional, but we had a delightful conversation. Deserves all the stars.”

“I stayed here with my friend and my 13 year old son. The space was much larger than expected. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, but the space we reserved was an entire two bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen and bathroom as well as a TV room overlooking the pool. Plenty of sleeping options - the second bedroom has two double beds and there is a futon in the TV room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook inside or outside at the grilling area. They have a grill and several tables with umbrellas. Thr apartment had a large dining room table in the tv room as well.

The staff were super friendly upon check in, check out, and at breakfast for the weekend we stayed. They gave us a map with directions to the path that goes down into Glen Cove. We went at sunset when the tide was coming back in. It was beautiful.

We spent one afternoon at the pool, which was super clean and had plenty of shaded and unshaded areas to hang out. Really cool pool floats too! For adults and kids.

The breakfast was a highlight. They had many self service options including a great selection of tea and coffee, juices, fruit, breads, bagels, muffins and other pastries, cold cereal, oatmeal, granola, cream of wheat, Waffles, pancake and sausage on a stick, hard boiled eggs, omelettes, yogurt...

My friend lives nearby, and I will definitely be staying here more often now that I have discovered Claddagh! I will also bring more family with me next time as there is plenty of room to sleep at least 6 people. I'm interested to see what the smaller motel rooms are like.”

“We loved our stay at the Inn & will definitely be back. Walking distance to everything, common areas with seating & coffee, and the best bedding for a very comfortable nights sleep.”

“Excellent place to stay! We had the superior king room, which had an amazing view of the bay. The room was super clean and very comfortable. The TV was easy to operate, with many channels. The bathroom was great, with a roomy shower and great lighting for makeup. It was very quiet and relaxing at the property, and close to everything we needed. The front desk was very friendly as well. We will definitely be back!”
