“Called this week to order some platters for the weekend, that should’ve been the first clue not to deal with them. First, you have to call them back because they don’t know how to transfer from one department to the other. Then I mistakenly had the wrong day. Trying to call them back just to change from Saturday to Sunday was a freaking nightmare. No one was answering in produce and customer service wouldn’t even take a update: They reached out and will be talking to the staff to avoid this again. Brought them up to 4 stars because owning a mistake is a good sign of leadership and then using it for training can help prevent others from the same issue.

note to update the day for them. Spent pretty much my whole lunch break trying to call them as they kept hanging up on me. I tried calling back that night and still couldn’t update as no one could take a note or even transfer a call without hanging up. Luckily Shaw’s could do it all in a one simple call after I gave up on Hannaford.”

“Local Family owned. Great food at great prices. Corners are not cut here. They do their best to keep items at affordable prices. The deli person's are always willing to do their best to help and complete orders. The cashier's are kind and straight to the point. Markets like this deserve your hard earned money more than businesses like Walmart or Amazon . Support local.”

“Walmart.com really dropped the ball by sending the wrong size tires for my car. Very disappointing and frustrating. The local Walmart turned things around as best they could. It cost me $125.00 more and required another trip to the store, but I appreciated their help. Walmart. Com....not so helpful.”

“I want to give a big thank you to Katie at customer service. I accidentally locked my keys in the car. Katie was great , she looked a few places up on the computer so I could contact a family member to help me out. She also dialed a few numbers on the phone for me which were wrong, ( my fault) it’s hard to remember numbers when your so use to just pushing a button by someone’s name!! She did this with taking care of people at customer service & answering all Shaws calls. Shaws in Sanford Me has a great associate and it was a pleasure to meet someone that is excellent with the public. Thank you Cindy”

“Better than average for the Walmart experience. The store seems cleaner and better maintained than most other Walmart locations. Shelves are well stocked and the staff is more helpful than average. There are exceptions but worthy of four stars.”
