“Very cute store! Don’t be fooled by the small size, they pack a ton of amazing products in there. The cheesemongers were super friendly and gave me a perfect recommendation. Definitely on the pricier side but the selection and quality are worth it. Hummingbird cheese, fennel salami, Castelvatrano olives, and ginger oatcakes all from Sissle & Daughters.”

“Who would of thought this Italian grocery store would be popping out Sicilian Pizzas that were this good. The dough was fluffy, undercarriage burnt perfectly, very cheesy and the sauce was sooo incredibly good. This shop is most definitely worth a stop at if you’re in the area for pizza or any Italian goods.”
“Maine & Loire has become my go-to spot whenever I need a special bottle of wine, or something fun, or just something reliably high-quality. It’s the kind of place where I can walk in and say, “Hey, I’m making haddock chowder tonight, my budget is $30,” and immediately get a handful of thoughtful recommendations plus a mini wine lesson, which I always appreciate. Wine can get pretentious and intimidating so fast, and I never feel that way at Maine & Loire.
I also really love their sales and loyalty program. Getting those emails with 10% off codes (which they send out pretty often!) always makes my day.
Lastly, I think you can choose to drink bottles on site, but in the past their policy seemed to change a few times, so I’ve stopped trying and just treat them as my go-to wine shop.”

“Sign on door says put your bills in the back of your trailer and back up to any of the six dock doors past the Shipping office man door. Took 40 minutes to unload signed bills were in the back of the trailer. No human contact worked for me.?”

“This establishment has by far the best customer service. I went in on christmas eve to get a gift card and a 12pk. Now, I have parkinsons and that affects my walking and speech, and these great people saw me struggling and only had me walk to the counter (just inside the door) and got my 12pk for me and even brought it to my car.
Kudos to you guys. You got it right.”

“May go to local gas station. Quick service in the shop as well if you're paying cash. Prices are fairly average for in town and even though it's a smaller station I always find a place to pull up without waiting. I appreciate that the trash barrels are never overflowed and there's clearly blue windshield fluid readily available.”
“Friendly Discount is still the store you know and love. I remember coming here in my younger days for all manner of things that they specialize in carrying. Most recently I’ve been coming back in for disposable vapes. They have a huge case on the counter with just about every flavor you can think of, but I go for the mint ones specifically. They’re priced $10 less than I was paying at a different spot so I’ve been getting them here exclusively. The people at the counter are always so nice and quick to help, always a 10/10 experience just like it was 20 years ago.”

“Westbrook Discount Beverage & Redemption was purchased around 2020 and has been under new management since. The redemption manager is still employed there, as the new owners recognized his efficiency/skill. I’ve seen nothing negative. In fact, there’s been improvement from it’s past life.”
