12 Pine Point Rd, ScarboroughI just had to write this review in praise of Pine Point animal hospital and staff and Dr. Drew and his kind, compassionate care of my Penny. Penny has bladder cancer but is still going on good medicine. Recently she developed giarda (sp) and has extreme diarrhea. Really scary blood and poop all over. He calmed me down and said we're still hopeful she'll get through this. Thanks so much for all your support for Penny and me.

Catherine was friendly but very professional and I felt my little guy was being left in good hands! He had a good day and I'll be bringing him back once a week or so for socialization, to relieve his boredom and to give him something to do while I run errands! Thank you Dog paws Inn!

I was worried about our smallest dog because the last groomer I tried said he was too anxious and couldn’t be clipped. Oliver looked beautiful and wasn’t a problem I am so happy. The smoked haddock chowder should be the main attraction for this place, it was seriously really legit. The lobster wasn't quite our style; the lobster was super cold and I believe had the slightest bit of mayo to the point it wasn't really even enough mayo to even know it was there. I don't mind the philosophy of letting the lobster shine, but lobster needs a bit of salt or SOMETHING to make its flavor pop. If you like Maine style then you might like this but if you favor Connecticut style then you might not prefer how this is made.

The first thing that struck me wasn't the food—it was Jack behind the counter. Genuine, welcoming, and the kind of person who makes you feel like he's actually glad you stopped in. That kind of warmth is getting harder to find these days, especially from someone his age. Customer service isn't a script here; it's simply how they do business.
Now, let's talk about the lobster roll.
Whoever made this understands an important truth: when you've got great lobster, you don't bury it under a mountain of mayonnaise or some other unnecessary concoction. You treat it with respect.
That's exactly what they did.
Sweet, tender chunks of fresh lobster were lightly dressed with butter and allowed to be exactly what they should be—the star of the show. The bun? A proper New England split-top hot dog roll, toasted until golden brown with just the right amount of crunch.
Nothing flashy. Nothing trying too hard. Just an honest lobster roll made the way it was always meant to be.
The next time you're driving down Route 1 in Scarborough, do yourself a favor. Pull over, walk through that door, and order the lobster roll.

The atmosphere was welcoming and had such a comfortable vibe that made the whole visit even better. What really stood out, though, was the service. A huge shoutout to Maisie and Chloe — they were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Great customer service can completely elevate a meal, and they absolutely did that. You can tell they truly care about making people have a great experience. We ate our breakfast on the back tables, which overlook a small body of water next to a driving range. It remained in our memories until this year when we visited Old Orchard Beach and had to return to see if it would match the scrumptiousness of our first visit. IT DID!! The Roasted North Atlantic Haddock lightly crusted with panko and served with linguini Alfredo and spinach in lemon butter sauce is TO DIE FOR!! While it was one of the most expensive meals we had in Maine, it is SO worth it. Not to mention the restaurant's off the beaten path location. You can't get any closer to the fishing boats. Take a stroll after dinner and enjoy the pier and watching the wildlife on the tiny beach! A heavenly evening!!
