Pet Care
Stoneledge Animal Hospital
398 Bridgton Rd, WestbrookI can’t thank Dr. Bailey enough for being such an amazingly wonderful vet to my sweet darling, Abigail. Abby first met Dr. Bailey when she worked at Dehler Animal Clinic, and followed her over to Stoneledge Animal hospital. My sweet darling was a few weeks shy of 17 years old when it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge this past Monday. My boo boo bear, my babe, my whole world. Dr. Bailey was so professional and gentle with her in her final moments as was the technicians. I can’t thank them enough for the support. They allowed us as much time as we wanted with her. Grieving has been so hard, but I’ll forever be grateful that Dr. Bailey was the one to help her cross over, Abby wouldn’t have wanted any other vet.

Pet Sitting & Training
A1K9 Academy
630 County Rd Ste C, WestbrookA1K9 is truly the best dog boarding facility in Maine. We couldn't be happier with our experience. The owners are simply incredible—they genuinely care for every dog as if they were their own. Their passion and dedication shine through in every interaction, making it easy to entrust our dog to their care. I was so anxious leaving our dog for the first time and they were so understanding/supportive. Now we drop him off and don’t stress at all while away because we know that he is in such capable and loving hands. It's clear that he's treated to endless fun and attention during his stays by the trainers/owners. I wouldn’t send him anywhere else. He absolutely loves it there and runs for the door when we arrive. It's SO clean, they have plenty of outdoor space with lots of activities and the trainers are always in the yard with the dogs. They also always post stories on their instagram daily of the dogs playing so you can check in on your dog.A1K9 has created something truly special here, and we're grateful to have found them!!!!

Mast Landing Brewing Company - Westbrook Taproom
920 Main St, WestbrookOne of my favorite breweries in the nation let alone Maine. Always awesome staff and great taste in art and beer. However since they went exclusively to an outdoor cart for food purchases, instead of letting people bring in or deliver food from the many decent nearby restaurants- I think the experience has gone downhill. The cart used to be good too when it was a popup, but now that it's permanent their menu has gotten worse and so has their service. It makes me less likely to visit, knowing I will have to plan around meals at different locations or buy food I won't enjoy. There are a lot of good Westbrook restaurants with a diverse range of cuisines, I have enjoyed trying while also patronizing Mast Landing- being forced to instead forever eat from a very slow and mediocre food cart now, just feels wrong, and doesn't really match the brewery's carefully curated brand. I hope this gets fixed soon because I think Mast Landing is a great addition to downtown Westbrook, the right blend of relaxing and cutting edge- I don't want any reason to look elsewhere!

Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland
217 Landing Rd, WestbrookHelpful place for volunteers and clients in adult disability programs. Volunteers actively engage with the pets in hope of attracting a forever home. I did not adopt. I am allergic to cats and sensitive to smell. I do not have space or fenced in yard for a dog.
