“Great local spot for breakfast and maybe an odd end or two you forgot you needed.
Photo of steak and eggs breakfast, new 2025 Lobster Fest poster and an antique find from the little antique shelf. If you are in the area, you should stop in and grab some food, drinks, and supplies with the locals and watch the oyster farm at work.”
“Seriously some of THE BEST home made food comes from this wonderful little country store. Ella’s burritos on Friday are SPECTACULAR. HOT and FRESH food from the kitchen is ALWAYS so good! Don’t get me wrong I love Andy’s but make a trip around the corner and you won’t be disappointed! They also have fresh meat packages and dry aged meats. They have such a wide variety of meats. I almost forgot, the home made snacks and deserts. Their cookies, cakes, and whoopie pies are the best.”
“Very cute roadside farm stand selling apples, pumpkins, mums, cider donuts, cabbage, peppers, zucchini, leafy greens, jams, cider, spreads, and more. With friendly service and the options for picking you can't go wrong.”
“Often a busy place, but everyone is so helpful! I sometimes seek assistance in locating unusual ingredients; I have never felt like I was bothering any of the employees. They are always happy to help and sometimes even interested in what I am making! Cool staff!”
“The little grocery every neighborhood should have. I love the place and go there often. Prices are too high, however, and to keep their clients, they need to do their best to keep them down.”
“My husband and I got grab and go vegan bahn mi (and gluten free for me) sandwiches and snacks for lunch. Everything was clearly labeled, and the folks working here are kind. Overall a great experience.”
“Took the trip out to Islesboro with some friends from Vermont stopped in for some refreshments . The prices were reasonable, the young woman working the register was very helpful with directions.”
“First of all I'd like to start with if you are going to write a review, especially a bad review, one might include all of the context. With that being said, yes the store has those signs up. The first sign "You are not special" it's referring to customers placing their items on the register belt and then continuing to shop like other people may not cash out while they are shopping, taking up belt space for customers who are in fact ready to check out. Rockland Foodservice has carts, baskets, and baskets with wheels for their customers to use instead of the register belt. So no you are not special enough to put your stuff here and inconvenience everyone else. As for the other sign " we will give you attention when you give us yours" refers to customers using cellphones while at the register cashing out. And asks customers not to do it. It's rude. I'm sorry are you talking to the person on the phone or are you talking to the cashier cause I bet the cashier doesn't know either. How it is that in 2024 we are upset with stores or any one asking for respect or at the very least a little common courtesy when interacting with other people out in the wild. I say wild because people are wild these days. Rockland foodservice has the best customer service around when they will take all of your groceries out to your car and load your car for you, they are always available to help and try to find whatever you need if they don't carry it. So in short, if you're going to leave a review (I'm looking at you Dennis F) at least have the common decency and courtesy make sure you include all the context.”

“There was a small discrepancy with my pick up order and Linda went above and beyond to make it right, even though it wasn’t her fault and she didn’t have to. She is very friendly and professional and does a great job. Very appreciative of people like her.”
“I love that most of the employees at the Rockland Hannaford Pharmacy know me by name. The staff except for 1 are so kind and customer friendly. They go above and beyond for all my prescriptions.”
“Remodeled Walmart looks awesome, but it will take time to reorganize my brain to find everything. Three times, I had to ask employees for help finding products, but all 3 were pleasant in their responses--even a fulfillment team member. (They're always in a hurry racing to fill online orders, so I hate to interrupt them, but they know where everything is.) Anyway, I am docking you a point bcs, as usual, there weren't enough cashiers--always seems to be more employees watching the registers than actually operating them. I hate your self checkouts because I always need help with some issue (either buying wine or produce without stickers) and there's not enough space to bag properly in the self checkout kiosks.”
“The deli cook "Charlie" I believe his name is...is an awesome AWESOME cook. Makes great pizza, subs and other food there. If you don't see it there's a highly possibility he will get it for you if it's available. Wtg on not burning the pizza!! Food is fresh and doesn't seem to be sitting there all day like the mornings . Oh and Shelby the cashier is so very friendly and NICE!! Some people need to leave there bad attitudes at the door.”
