Pet Care

Wells Dog and Cat Hospital
418 Sanford Rd, WellsKevin is always the first to great us and he's very good with my anxious girl, and me! Dr. Kirk took the time to discuss my concerns and offer solutions to behavioral issues. I'm sure WDCH is not the least expensive veterinarian service in southern Maine, but I doubt there is none better for your pet's care!

Tuschs Integrative Veterinary Care
418 Sanford Rd, WellsDr. Tusch and his team, Morgan and Michael, at Integrative Vet are truly exceptional. While we had been to them a few times before, everything changed when our beloved dog Addy became sick and we were faced with the hardest decision a pet parent can ever make.
During that heartbreaking time, I couldn’t have asked for anyone more caring, compassionate, understanding, and gentle. They treated Addy with such dignity and love, and they treated us like family. Their presence brought comfort during one of the most painful moments of our lives, and I will never forget that.
They genuinely care about their patients and their patients’ families, and it shows in every interaction. I will forever be grateful they were there to help us through Addy’s transition. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.

For the Love of Food + Drink at Saltwater Farm
411 Post Rd, WellsOhara welcomed us and was very helpful and kind. The chef also introduced himself and it meant so much to us since we recently moved to Maine. They offer every menu item gluten free as an option. Their homies were actually homemade and wonderful and they also had the best and fluffiest gluten free pancakes I have ever tasted. Chorizo breakfast burrito rocked!

Bitter End
2118 Post Rd, WellsHad the pulled pig sandwich, very good, loved the thin shoestring French fries and the Cole slaw was good. PBR cans pretty cheap at $3.50. The place was very busy so the service was a little slow. Overall a very good experience.

Congdons After Dark Food Truck Park
1100 Post Rd, WellsI've wanted to check out this spot for a few years now and finally made it. What a fun spot. I love all the food trucks but of course had to pick one for dinner. The haddock sandwich from MacDaddy's Seafood & Tots is off the hook delicious and HUGE as well as reasonably priced. Service is fast & friendly. We live about a 1/2 hour away but will go every summer to enjoy the many food truck options, music & ambiance.

Litchfield's Bar and Grill
2135 Post Rd, WellsWe were happy to find this restaurant open during the winter here in Wells. We were able to walk in and get seated quickly and it was quite packed with people both at the bar and dining areas. We ordered appetizer of fried pickles, which was a huge portion for $10. (Didn’t expect some sort of seasoned salt on top of them), Ordered the fried clam strip platter which consisted of a plentiful portion of very tender clam strips, fries (which also had the seasoned salt in them) and coleslaw. The coleslaw was something less desired and will choose another option in the future. The last meal was steak tip dinner. Only 3 small tenderloins of steak served with coleslaw and baked potato (of choice). A little over priced for the quantity of beef. Overall the staff was very friendly. The environment was loud, and it didn’t help they sat us among a bunch of infants. ?
NOTE: the bill was $70.24 BEFORE TIP. The tip suggestion on the bill is NOT accurate.
