Green Dog Grooming Spa and Dog Wash
180 Woodbridge Road, YorkI have a 16 year-old terrier mix who would not let me trim her nails or even brush her so she looked very raggedy. I took her to Green Dog Spa and they were amazing with her. Got the nails trimmed in under 15 minutes and then combed and bathed her and she looks beautiful so well kept now.!!
They were very kind, considerate professional - everything you want someone to be with your four legged fur baby!!

11 York Street, YorkWe are seasonal residents of York and recently had an issue with infected hot spots on our Great Pyrenees. Bunni was wimpering from the hot spots while at our summer home in York, rather than go to a pet emergency hospital I opted to try calling York Village Veterinary since we had pets that were patients 20 years ago when we were full time in York and to my surprise they said they could see here right away. Dr McNutt and Danielle were AMAZING!! So caring as soon as we entered the building. Danielle & Dr McNutt showed so much empathy for Bunni! Dr McNutt spent time discussing Bunni’s issues and thoroughly explaining recommended solutions for her hot spots and other issues she is having as an elderly pup. Considering Bunni was a last minute appt and not a regular patient it was truly such a comfort to see how much they care for animals. Such a great experience at York Village Veterinary ~ thank you!

1359 US-1, Cape NeddickNeat little hot dog place. Quirky combination of a sweet (dare I say, fruit and onion based?) jammy relish and mayo on their house dogs don't knock it till you try it! I preferred that one, my boyfriend preferred their loaded dogs instead. To each their own. I love that they have their own branded napkins. I find retro and kitchy in the best way. Parking (and backing out onto route 1) can be tricky. Take 1 north and try to park on the side of the road rather than pull into the spaces, IMHO.

Lobster Cove
756 York Street, YorkParty of four dined indoors for lunch at a table in the window with a lovely view. Husband ordered the $24 lobster special ( shown in photo). We also ordered steamed clams, New England clam chowder and two kale salads with butternut squash, apple, walnuts and feta cheese with an apple cinnamon vinaigrette. Everything was presented nicely and tasted great. The menu had lots of lunch/ dinner options. Ambiance was lovely. Our waitress was excellent. We would definitely dine there again.

22 Harris Island Road, YorkDeck at Dockside is a great spot for drink and casual food. Views are amazing, staff is friendly and love the spicy Margarita and the fish burrito and the wings. Awesome on a sunny day.

10 Shore Rd, York BeachWe rented a house near this place for a week summer rental. It became our go to for lunch , lobster roll , clam roll , turkey club , BLT and onion rings. Don’t expect filet minion it’s a hole in the wall kinda place with grab and go or sit outside seating. Sadly I heard they were closing soon

Dockside Restaurant on York Harbor
22 Harris Island Road, YorkWe had a wonderful time at Dockside! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Our server, Josephine, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and she made the evening feel extra special.
The atmosphere was lovely, the food was great, and the whole experience made for such a memorable night. We would definitely recommend Dockside to anyone looking for a nice date night or a place to celebrate with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back soon!
