990 Lafayette Rd, PortsmouthBest groomers we have found yet! Our BMD is an anxious girl when it comes to her grooms and Sam did an amazing job with her. It was the first time we picked her up from the groomers and she was calm! She also looked beautiful and was amazingly trimmed and bathed.

Very reasonable prices and the owner has given us great recommendations for treats for a finicky eater when our pup was on end of life care last year. The owner clearly cares a lot about animals and is so kind every time we’ve come in. Love the dog bakery counter too!

Vetco Vaccination Clinic
1465 Woodbury Ave, PortsmouthTook my two cats for rabies vaccination but also had additional questions as both had tummy issues - the vet did not have to do any of it (the place was for vaccinations only) but she also gave them a dewormer, discussed food choice with me and suggested a prebiotic that seems to help. Great staff (and affordable option)! I recommend the place.

Liars Bench Beer Co
459 Islington St #4, PortsmouthLiars Bench Beer in Portsmouth, NH on Islington St. Its in the same building as a plumbing supply store. They serve pub food and have a kitchen and bar seats inside. The outside was a very nice setup and very inviting. They have a full waitstaff catering to customers at their seats. I thought this was a rare thing because usually customers have to belly up to the counter. There was a staff of six working on a Sunday. Its kind of a gem in a very nice part of Portsmouth. They are all really nice in Portsmouth.

Societe
51 Ceres St, PortsmouthI've been going to Societe for years now, and honestly, I don't know what I'd do without their apothecary teas. I'm a mom to 4-year-old twins, and medicine has been one of the hardest parts of parenting. I've never felt good about giving them over-the-counter cold meds--too many weird ingredients I can't pronounce, and they never seem to help much anyway. But finding natural remedies that actually work? That's been a whole other struggle. Every fall, I make my annual trip to Societe to stock up on my go-to teas: Throat Ease, Get Well, Breathe, Fever Break, Be Well Immuni Tea, and Digest Ease. The first five are always in my pantry. When my kids start sniffling or coughing, I don't even think twice--I make them a warm cup of tea. It's so much easier than fighting with them to take some nasty-tasting syrup that ends up all over their shirt or spit out halfway through. These teas work fast, they taste good, and I feel better knowing I'm helping their little bodies heal naturally. Now let me talk about Digest Ease, because this one... wow. If you've been through potty training, you know the constipation phase is brutal. My daughter was in so much pain, scared to go, crying, and I felt helpless. Doctors kept recommending milk of magnesia and other stuff that just didn't feel right. I tried everything--fiber, prune juice, homeopathic drops--and nothing gave her consistent relief. Digest Ease was the only thing that helped. It's gentle, it works fast, and it gave my daughter real relief without the drama. I've told every mom friend I know about it, and they've all had the same experience. If you're a parent who's tired of chemical-filled meds and just wants something safe, natural, and effective--these teas are it. They're not just products. They're part of how I care for my kids. I'll never go another season without them.

Row 34 | Portsmouth
5 Portwalk Pl, PortsmouthA Wonderful Birthday Dinner at Row 34! My wife and I celebrated my birthday at Row 34 in Portsmouth, NH yesterday, and we had a truly marvelous experience from beginning to end! The food was excellent—everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. What really made the evening special, though, was the outstanding service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire dinner. They made us feel genuinely appreciated and helped make my birthday celebration even more memorable. It's not every day you find a restaurant that gets the food, atmosphere, and hospitality all right, but Row 34 definitely did for us. Thank you to the entire Row 34 team for making my birthday so special! We had a wonderful time and will absolutely be back. Highly recommended!
