We had a great experience at the LoveSac store in the South Portland, Maine Mall. By the end of the process, every staff member had assisted us in one way or another, and all were friendly, attentive, and genuinely willing to help correct any issue and make sure we had exactly what we wanted.
We originally went in just to get a quote on a single couch or loveseat. We ended up purchasing two couches — one shallow and one deep — both two-cushion setups. The original lady went over all the options and all the set up styles and patterns with great detail and personal experience with their own set up.
The only hiccup we ran into was a warehouse issue where we initially received the wrong sides. However, LoveSac corrected the problem as quickly as possible given shipping and return timelines, and communication throughout was solid.
About two weeks in, my wife (who works from home) decided the firm cushions weren’t the right fit for her. We called in and adjusted the order to have one couch firm and the other soft. During that process, we also added an ottoman — it was just too comfortable not to, especially when you want to put your feet up and sneak in an afternoon snooze.
Now just shy of a month in, we’re very happy with the purchase and honestly wish we had pulled the trigger sooner. We have a busy household with a dog, multiple kids, and an active lifestyle, and the couches have held up great. I’ve even ended up sleeping on them several nights, and they’ve been perfect for that too.
Highly recommend both the LoveSac couches and this specific location.

“We purchased 2 custom configured sofas for our kitchen/dining/living room in 2012. They have been in constant year-round use and been moved many times as we reconfigure from facing the dining room table to facing our woodstove. They have had many the spilled upon them, but Ross advised a combination of a special treatment for the sofas and Shout for cleanup and they still look great! They are super comfortable and so well constructed that they are as sturdy as when we bought them. The products are great and the advice and customizing options are terrific!”
