“The guys over at baxleys installed a supercharger on my corvette. Did a great job with all the mechanical work. Tuned both that and my truck, couple tuning related issues but they took the vehicles right back in and honored the repairs until they were corrected and now both vehicles run great with no more issues. I’m a particular guy and don’t want my stuff at a place that I worry about the quality of the work performed but these guys have earned my trust and are excellent! Highly recommended!”

“Just got my car inspected here. I just moved up to Maine from Mass in march and I have been warned by many people that mechanic shops in the Portland area are no good (either bad work or price gouging). This shop is the real deal, a rare gem. The owners are so kind and very professional. I had to wait for my car despite having scheduled the inspection with the understanding I would be dropping off the car…..and even thou I didn’t ask to have my car inspected faster, they accommodated me to be first car in and out because they had some wiggle room.
I just have to say that this shop is so clean and so professional. I would come back to them for any work I need and would highly recommend to anyone else in the area. They even pointed out some concerns without being pushy about getting work done immediately. Made my day to have such a pleasant stop first thing in the morning. Bonnie reminds me of my grandma and I didn’t wanna disappoint her by being late to my appointment, I could tell she is a very non nonsense kind of lady, while also having such a kind smile and mannerism…..just can’t say enough nice stuff about the shop and it’s owners.
And on the topic of the wait time for an appointment…..good things are worth the wait. I imagine the wait is due to the number of customers who are booking with them, they are in high demand and it’s for a reason. Getting work done on your car shouldn’t be rushed, so a shop that has the availability to take you right away, isn’t always a good thing. I don’t believe this shop deserves bad reviews due to the wait time, they can’t help if they have a full schedule. I rather they be honest about the wait time and get the work done right than them taking my car and it’s weeks or months before I see the car again because of bad scheduling.”
“These guys rock!Saabs may have gone out of production several but they are very durable cars. My family has had 7 of them and my current daily driver is a 2003 Saab 9-5 with nearly 215K miles. It had a weird electronic problem (no turn signals, no flashers, no rear wiper, no intermittent wipers, no interior lights) that required some serious diagnosis and they solved it. A couple of used parts and I was back on the road. I was thinking I'd have to give up my old pal of many years, but M&R saved me. Awesome experience with total pros.I do most of my own car repair and don't live nearby, but M&R is always there when I need them. A few years back I was on a trip to Canada when the fuel pump on this same car died. I had it towed to them and I was back on the road in about 3 hours. Service like this is SO rare these days. They work on all makes and models, but Saabs are a specialty. You cannot go wrong with M&R.”

“They do what they say they are going to. They aren’t the cheapest but they do top shelf work. You get what you pay for in this case. Professionals that do things properly. Grateful I have had them work on my F350. Replaced cracked heads and replaced the flex plate. Two big jobs I just wasn’t up for myself. Very happy with end result. Will def use them in the future, hopefully I won’t need to.”
