“(Coming from a 15 yr old girl) We drove three hours to come to a women’s conference, I had been wanting to get my second lobe piercing, and the lady there, Shanon, she was amazing <3 I’m an introvert, but she was just the right balance of making conversation but not too chatty, and she’s really funny. She explained the process of what she was doing really well, and pointed out something that I hadn’t noticed regarding the placement of the piercing so it wasn’t too crowded. The process took maybe 20 seconds, she counted before she went to pierce my ears, and it was just a pinch. A little loud, but it comes with the process. Overall very much enjoyed my experience there and can’t wait to go to my follow up for my piercings <3”

“Visited Jen Burrall Designs for the first time a few weeks ago. What a gem right here in Portland!!! Jen’s handmade jewelry is absolutely stunning!!!! She is in the process of making me a ring with Seaglass, I can’t wait to pick it up, the intricate design within the ring is amazing!! She also made me a band, made with sand from the beach in Maine, it’s so cool!!! And the clothes, WOW!!! The styles Jen has picked out to sell in her store are absolutely beautiful, she has an eye for fashion, a true artist!!! I picked out so many eclectic pieces, and she’s always getting new, fun styles in. She also has other really cool items that she sells, that would make awesome gifts, like bags, and wallets. I have been in, now a few times, and like I said she always has new, different, cool items to browse through. Also, Jen is super cool, laid back, and easy going. It’s such a pleasure seeing and talking with her. She makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed in her space. If you’re looking for something different, beautiful and hip visit Jen at her shop in Portland, I can promise you, it will not be your only visit!!! “I was just there with some friends. You wouldn't realize it from the window, but there is gorgeous jewelry here! I got an amazing ring and my friend got a bracelet and necklace. It was such a fun shopping experience. We were able to look without feeling pressured. I live in NYC and, surprisingly, it's very hard to find handmade jewelry like this. So happy we found the store. “I came here twice during my trip to Portland. I wanted a bunch of souvenirs for the folks back home but needed to stay on a budget. This store had a lot of good souvenir Portland merch and other garments. Affordable items and good quality. I purchased fridge magnets and keychains. The customer service is amazing! Both of my interactions were great and I will definitely be back when I go back to Portland!”
“Paige and Rebecca are rockstars! The evening before my wedding I brought in a borrowed Swarovski necklace, looking for an extender. The necklace is no longer made and they didn’t have any of its extenders on hand— but they managed to find a chain and with a little adjustment from Rebecca’s pliers it worked perfectly. They were patient and so kind; and they didn’t even know it was for my wedding; they were just willing to help:”
