A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive
Wow—pulled pork with bourbon BBQ sauce and Jersey-style fair fries? Just take all my money already.
This place is an absolute hidden gem. The only downside? It’s nearly a two-hour drive from home, and that’s just cruel.
I was in Cumberland for a business trip when someone recommended this spot. From the outside, it’s unassuming, but the food? Incredible. I ordered the pulled pork, and it was so good I seriously considered grabbing another before heading out.
On top of the amazing food, the staff were absolutely lovely. Their warmth and friendliness made the experience even better, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it.”

“Can be busy (bottle redemption) especially on weekends but staff is very kind and very clearly super hard working and efficient. It’s pretty impressive how their whole system and team works. They made an effort to make room in the heated bottle sorting area to let people in from waiting outside in the cold despite being backed up due to one customer with 20+ thirty gal bags of cans & bottles. Alcohol selection in liquor store is excellent. I notice stuff (especially from overseas) that I don’t see many other places, as well as normal bevs and local brews/liquors always being well stocked. Folks at checkout have always been wonderful to chit chat with and are very funny/kind. Strong recommend, look forward to continuing to buy/redeem in the future.”
