“Annas store is a must if you love products from Poland. She has the best selection in Winnipeg and Manitoba by far. Her store is a always a must stop for me when in Winnipeg.”
“Great selection of frozen meats dinners and desserts! There are gluten-free meals here as well. The service was very friendly and she gave us some helpful suggestions when we had questions. The store is roomy and very clean.”
“Dino’s Supermarket is a fairly good place, especially if you’re looking for specific international food items. They offer frozen meat, halal meat, and a wide variety of spices used in Indian, Bangladeshi, Jamaican, Arabic, Sri Lankan, and Pakistani cooking.
They also carry frozen bread like paratha, good-quality rice, cooking oils, and hair oils. The store is more specialized in African and Asian foods. I personally don’t come here for fresh fruits and vegetables, but mainly for meat, spices, frozen bread, rice, and oils.
There is also a section dedicated to hair care products, and they sell very delicious ready-made sweets. Overall, it’s a useful store for specialty items.”
“Very nice little Korean supermarket. I found what I was looking for. Nice assortment of products.Lovely fish ice-cream. Lady cashier was polite and helpful. My only complaint is there is no air circulation in the store. Very hot and it's not even summer, plus moldy/stale smell.”
“I would like to thank Ahmed & Saad for their hardwork dedication, and excellent customer service. I've been coming here for the last 20 years. I love the service and the staff is excellent, especially Ahmed and Saad.”
“I want to take a moment to appreciate Lady Grace, who helped us yesterday while picking a flower bouquet. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we chose the best option. She truly goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Such a lovely experience!”
“Ken is the star of this establishment! The products found here are genuinely sourced locally paired with competitive prices unlike many other “organic or local” marketing at other stores. He has many stories & a soul, and believes in everything he sells. I recommend giving him a visit if you’re in the area!”
“This store has some decent prices on certain items. My main go to. Staff, for the most part, are fun, kind and actually say hello when you come to pay. There is one older cashier who is a bit more um... "starchy". But when I see her, I go to the self check out to avoid her.”

“Sukh Supermarket is Wonderful store, prolly my favourite store in the city, good cannabis, good groceries, good selection, good pricing, good location, very very friendly service, and slushy machines.
2025 Update: They've added an ice cream truck outside. ??
P.s. Don't sleep on the samosas, I buy two every time I go, delicious, favourite Samosas in Winnipeg. ?”

“Don’t walk, run to this locally owned business. The best customer service I’ve seen from most mom and pop shops. The owners are the most hospitable people I’ve met. Today I went in to get some groceries, a lady was Infront of me with her kid, who picked up a small toy that wasn’t on sale, the owner lady saw the little kid playing with it and even tho the mother insisted paying for the toy, the owner give the toy to the little kid for free. This is a welcoming and very cute shop. Definitely a place to be spending your money instead of these big chains.”
“We purchase our steaks from this location and they are incredible. Possibly the best we’ve ever had, very tender and juicy. They will cut exactly what you want, package and vacuum seal everything for you. The price point can’t be beat.”
“Everyday grocery is always a good option for Bangladeshi fish, spices and vegetables. Though their quality of chicken is no longer the best. I don’t recommend their beef either.”
“Bread's cheaper here than freshco, no frills, superstore & wal-mart. That's almost enough by itself for me. Other staple foods are comparable or cheaper than the big grocer's as well, and most definitely less than the other bodega's around. Throw in the fact that the owner is the kindest man in this neighbourhood? Y'all missin out if you pass this place up. He gives you a lil piece of candy when you buy stuff too ???”
“Good store. Not a bad choice of goods. There are Ukrainian products (Roshen candies, Kiev cake, buckwheat and others), Of the minuses for me, in this store, there is often an absence of goods on the shelf from my grocery basket.”
“I am on longer living nearby but still i often visit this place, their staff are friendly and service is amazing, you can feel those young staff care about customers, definitely better than that sobeys”
“Great staff, always has things I need that I can't find anywhere else. It may be a korean store but my Japanese grandmother always sent us here for groceries. Prices are a little higher than Luckys or other bigger asian groceries but its location is super convenient for those in saint james. Their short life produce like green onions and bean sprouts are always way fresher and much better looking than anything you can get at Safeway or superstore.”
“We were looking for a simple, light dessert. The associate was extremely friendly and super helpful with our selection process. She even was presenting us with items that were on sale! Very impressed with the service!”
“I frequently visit this store to purchase maduritos plantain chips. The store owners are quite friendly. I arrive at 9 a.m. or 8:55 a.m. because I need to get to work. And they used to allow me in early all the time. The prices for all of the ingredients they sell are really reasonable. With grocery prices rising, I recommend that you go to the shop for all of your African needs. They contain the vast majority of the items I require.”
“Great staff are very nice. The owner keeps a nice shop with a wide variety of items at good prices. They are all an asset to the community and are much better than neighboring stores like Pals.”
“Nice place to shop for your African food stuffs and gloceries, though they tend to sell their products higher in price, as to be compared to other african stores close by.”

“I Can Agree, that at times the front staff ( Girls ) , are not as friendly nor as POLITE , as the should be to the paying public, However, The Back End Staff Are All Fantastic, I Take my father, Here, to shop his meat requests, & the Women, & Men at the back end are always Polite, & Friendly!”
“If you truly want a place to chop for vegetables and leaving around St. Anne’s and environs, this is a place to drive to and pick up varieties and price is reasonably affordable. The staff here are very amazing set of people and always ready to help with whatever you need.”
“A positive shopping experience here as with all outlets.Since the Pembina South location was closed a few years ago, I have to travel a greater distance to purchase M&M products, so I dont buy as much as I used to.”

“The people here are always so nice and respectful. The prices are incredibly fair especially for a small convenience store and has a decent variety of brands including no name if you're on a budget. Would highly recommend shopping here.”
“First time here and I was impressed when I walked in. Much larger than you would think. Unfortunately there was loud Arabic music playing, from a streaming service that kept stopping, and that was very, very annoying. Like grating on the brain. But their selection of products was extensive. I will be back.”

“The vegetables and fruits are really fresh, and there are many discounts on the products currently making the prices very reasonable and inexpensive. The boss has a very nice service attitude and is very caring and patient, which makes me wanna come to shop. The store is in a good location with lots of parking out front, which makes really convenient for us to go to.”
“A diverse selection of meat and non-meat cuts not commonly found elsewhere, such as lamb or beef shanks, lamb leg, cow oxtail tongue, liver, tripe, intestines, and trotters (feet).”
“Great service, amazing selection of wines & many unique items to choose from as well as the classics. Quite the little treasure trove of a store! Can't wait to shop there again!”
“This was my first visit. I have lived here all my life and love greek food. I really liked how you could order a small amount to taste it before you commit to a larger portion to take home and cook. The chicken souvaki, lemon potatoes, the greek rice, greek salad were a hit.”
