“A. Litteri is a classic -- small but mighty! They have a great assortment of fresh pastas, a tasty selection of Italian cheeses, and lots of fun condiments and such. (They also have what's supposed to be a terrific wine selection, but we haven't sampled that.) We even found fresh apple pie there for Pi Day. Nice, helpful people, too!”

“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Amos who is currently employed at Calvert Woodley Fine Wines & Spirits. Amos provides excellent customer service with his polite and patient demeanor. He excels at matching a client’s budget with a choice of wine and champagne appropriate to the occasion. My daughter, Airlie, and her husband, Nicholas, from Chamonix, France, as well as her mother-in-law, were extremely impressed with his knowledge of champagne from the region, while still offering competitive price ranges. Hands down, Amos is my go-to person for a variety of social occasions!”

“This family run business by the Basdin family has been around for decades. The liquor store started as a French wine store but has expanded and specialized into California and other areas.
Great selection of wines. The staff have been there for decades, specialize in diverse areas, and are immensely helpful. My personal preference over the otherwise excellent Woodley Park Liquors. Online ordering and pickup are a breeze.”

Jess handled my order and she had great communication and worked with me to edit and customize what was in my gift basket. Delivery was timely and I like that they coordinate with the recipient instead of just leaving your delivery outside if someone doesn’t answer. They work with a wide range of budgets and take everything into account when giving you a price (all items, card, and delivery included in the quoted price). Loved the speciality items they offer and my friends are so excited to dig in!”
