“This hole-in-the-wall market is nearby and carries most things. The cashier (store owner?) is always so nice and helpful. Last time I was here, I grabbed a single corndog, a mini bottle of wine, and a bag of chips. Totaled about $11. Love this place. Oh, and if you’re into beer and wine, this place has plenty of it!”

“Most liquor stores around Cookeville are terrible. Wasn't expecting much. Bourbon selection was surprisingly robust. Very little beer, almost exclusively wine and spirits.”

“Very nicely organized clean and friendly. It might be just because it was a Sunday but they did seem a bit under stocked on some of the staples. Some basic brand name vodkas only had one or two bottles on the shelf same thing with some whiskeys I would expect to see more of there were only three or four bottles left.”

“We love Fenwick! Great service, knowledgeable staff, awesome selection, including higher end wines and beer, but with something for everybody. The perfect local beer and wine (and cider and seltzer) shop!”

“Great, convenient place to buy at. Knowledgeable employees, I buy my top shelf favorites every week despite working across the street, thanks to employees always quick on hand to discern between choices and prices. My choice, for years now and years to come, as I plan to purchase property in aspen hill. ~ Wilfredo Benitez”

“My best friend I went in to grab some wine on a Tuesday evening. We meet the new owner who had recently taken over the business. The owner was incredibly gracious and even gifted us an additional bottle as a gesture of appreciation for our congratulatory sentiments towards his new endeavor.”

“Great international grocer and unique items shop. There's even a built-in Ethiopian habesha at the end of the produce aisle where you can get mitmita, berbere, shiro, injera, or whatever else you need. Plus it's been operating long enough that you can one-stop shop here for beer and wine, as well, unlike most Montgomery County grocery stores.”

“Been going there for 20 years. Bruce has retired and has passed it on to the next generation. Still great service & prices. If you're looking for something that's not in stock they will try and get it for you.”

“I rent U-Haul cargo vans from here, monthly, and the manager of the beer/wine store runs the U-Haul business. This is a great location to rent a u-haul. I have read negative reviews, which perplex me. I have rented vehicles for this location 7 times in 5 years, and 3 of these were in the last year. Therefore, I suspect that any bad reviews were responses to isolated incidents to which even great businesses are susceptible from time to time. Especially, this location allows mobile phone transactions ANYTIME of the day or night 24/7/365.”

“They have a pretty extensive selection. I went in looking for a specific less-common item, and one of their staff immediately knew where it was tucked away. Their prices are reasonable and they've always been polite and helpful.”

“Excellent selection of craft beer and good wine selection as well. Shop is local, convenient and crowded with selection. Stopped in for beer and left with 3 six packs of local craft beer I had not yet tried and a Belgian as well. Throw in a pretty good bottle of wine and I was set. There was also a wine tasting/sampling when I was there. I will be back.”

“You cannot get better than Bel Pre Beer and Wine. They have a terrific and broad selection of wines at a variety of prices. Jim has been able to fulfill all my larger orders from Halloween to New Year's. He also delivers my book club orders which is only 3 to 4 bottles with the same care as he does the larger ones. He makes outstanding recommendations as well. You will never see me in line at the state stores again. They deliver promptly and again there is something in everyone's price range. Excellent service always!Catherine”

“Stopped by just to see the menu and ordered the Sgt. Pepper. It was very good and a nice quick lunch. Will stop by again to try another sandwich. The owner was nice as well.”

“For wines, they have an excellent overall selection. For beers? Do you like IPAs or the seasonal fad? Then you'll find a lot to like. For anything else, the selection is very hit or miss - a couple porters, one dubbel, a handful of Oktoberfest brews, and not a "quadrupel" or barleywine in sight. I suspect 90% of beer lovers will find what they're looking for here, but you might not.”

“Prime Beer and Wine offers a variety of wines and beer. Your options are terrific. If you have an interest in an item that is not in stock, they will order it for you. The staff here are always friendly and very helpful especially if you need help with selection and/or recommendations.”

“I'm not a drinker but keep a white chablis on hand for marinating seafood and adding to various wine sauces. I'm about to get some rum for baking. So, I'm looking for the same brand at the best price each time I go, and MoCo Liquor & Wine works great. The store is clean and well-maintained and, unlike a review from 2013, I've NEVER encountered any pan-handlers or derelicts on more than 10 years of patronizing. However, I always go in the daytime, and not a Friday or any weekend night (which is statistically when most people drink more). If I have a question, the brothers on staff are very helpful and always respectful. And there's never a line! I'm in and out in 5 minutes, if want to be. My only complaint is that parking can be kinda difficult sometimes but that's only because I want to park within 40 ft or so rather than using the free parking (on weekends or after 7pm) in the garage directly across the street.”

“I buy my alcohol from this liquor store, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice, the store is always clean and usually fully stocked with whatever I need. I just had to leave a review after my last visit to also inform the public that not only is the staff very nice, but they are very”

“I love this place! I have been going for years. The employees are incredibly friendly and the store has great hours. Wide selection of beer and wine, and they even have cold champagne, prosecco, and rose if you are off to a brunch. 29 Mart also carries snacks, ice cream, and some grocery items. Very convenient spot!”

“This place is great they have a wonderful selection excellent prices friendly staff I always find what I'm looking for and I love that it's locally owned and operated. They need to tell their landlord that the car's out front have to be moved. no one should be pulling up out front and running in to buy beer... if their landlord cannot hear their complaints then shame on the landlord.”
