Admiral Fell Inn Baltimore Harbor, Ascend Hotel Collection is a truly unique historic inn in a premium and excellent location within the Fells Point neighborhood. The hotel preserves an old charm and authentic feel, with an unusual and sometimes confusing layout, uneven floors, and a sense of the area's history. Many guests find the staff to be super friendly, warm, welcoming, accommodating, and wonderful. The included breakfast on the 5th floor is noted as very simple, and the adjoining terrace offers a very beautiful view. The on-site Cafe is also described as lovely. However, the historic character comes with some drawbacks. Due to its central location, weekend crowds from the surrounding area can be extremely loud late into the night, which can disrupt sleep. Some rooms show signs of wear, with mentions of stained furniture and linen, broken bed posts, open ceilings, and bathrooms in need of upgrades or providing limited hot water. Renovations are acknowledged to be addressing some of these issues. While some guests feel the online photos make it look quaint but the interior is sad in person, others appreciate its charm and would definitely return and recommend it to others, especially noting reasonable prices.
Renovations stage will address some issues like stained furniture and new bathrooms. Rooms were very nice. Unusual layout for a hotel made us feel the history of the hotel and the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely return!!

Food & drinks: The breakfast was not worth paying for it.. other than that the staff were super friendly and helpful.. I had a great stay and enjoyed it.. location is premium..

We walk past this hotel all the time in fells and decided to check it out for the night instead of driving home.. it was nice.. the long journey to find the room was a bit confusing but it was very authentic with its history and the Cafe was lovely.. some of the rooms can use an upgrade but it still had some charm.
