“Rachel's Dowry is an exceptional bed and breakfast. The B&B is impeccably clean, perfectly situated near the stadiums and downtown, and in a safe area. The Innkeeper, Linda, is a joy to speak with, as she is a wealth of knowledge on the area, the fascinating history of the home, and the local attractions. The little touches within the space are top notch, as the decorations are beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and our room was elegant, cozy, and extremely well kept. Rachel's Dowry is quite the find, and a big upgrade from the nearby hotels. We can't wait to return....thanks!!Rooms: Spacious and clean.Nearby activities: Walk to Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium in minutes.Safety: Baltimore can be hit or miss, neighborhood by neighborhood regarding safety, however Rachel's Dowry was in a safe area, which is very well lit and near other attractions.Walkability: It is a 2 minute walk to Camden Yards and another 5 minutes to Ravens Stadium.Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast, and little treats throughout the house during our stay.Noteworthy details: Innkeeper Linda's hospitality was the best we've experienced, and having traveled much of the world, in addition to local Baltimore area, that's quite a compliment.”

“We really enjoyed their complimentary valet parking, particularly appreciating the staff members’ professionalism and politeness.Receptionists were also very kind and friendly. The room was definitely nice - nicer than 3-star hotels in America I usually stay in for family vacations, but underwhelming comparing to 4-star hotels I get to stay in for business trips in Europe.Rooms: I loved the decor of the room, which felt modern and cosmopolitan, with a bonus of having an access to the courtyard (not directly). The size of the room and balcony was underwhelming. I really did not like the lack of blackout curtains as the light from the opposite rooms on the second level was on all night - it was fairly bright and I could not sleep well.”

“We just spent a 4 day babymoon at the Ivy and it was the perfect cozy getaway! The staff went above and beyond - James, Calvin, Janelle, Theresa, Anthony and everyone else were so kind and accommodating! Highlights of the trip include:- cozy hotel room with fireplace- best omelette we’ve ever had- the grits - wow- the Spa - double wow- drivers were able to take us everywhere we wanted to go within the 3 mile radius (which is as far as you need to go to explore Baltimore)I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the stay! The Ivy will always hold a special place to us as we expand our family. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so spectacular! We will be back!”

“We had a great time here. Service was very good, front desk staff were nice and welcoming. We used city parking garage opposite to the hotel and worked out perfectly well. Most of the attractions, and restaurants are in the walking distance from the hotel.”

“The architecture is amazing. Highly recommend staying here. The staff is not the friendliness but unless you're talking to them all the time it doesn't matter.”

“The Tru By Hilton was a lovely clean and welcoming hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The soap, shower gel and lotion smelled out of this world I wish I could have filled my case with them, and sadly they're not available in the UK.The hotel has 24 HR lavazza coffee and hot water for tea etcWalkability: Well placed for local amenities and sights”

“Hotel Indigo was an absolute treat. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Great lighting in the bathrooms for getting ready. We had a wonderful time at the bar downstairs, Poet. Scott and Brittany were extremely kind and attentive! They kept us laughing the whole time. Our crab dip was some of the best we’ve ever had. Tyjuan and Adrielle made our check-in and checkout process easy and as the first and last interaction that you have in an establishment, they set everyone up for success. We won’t stay anywhere else during our frequent trips to Baltimore now! Thank you all so much!”

“The traffic getting in to this place was horrendous, but certainly understandable, given this port is the launching point for many cruises. The crew was fantastic though, directing everyone to the correct places they needed to be for parking, where to enter for boarding. Very orderly.”

“Update. The guests responsible for the disturbance continue to be nuances well past 2:00 a.m.After they were asked to leave they refused and the police were called to have them removed. The staff remain calm and respectful of all the parties involved. Changing my review to four stars. The reason why it's not five is because you should have a working desk phone inside your room for your safety.Original.Started off great but the staff was slow in removing another hotel guest that was throwing a party. Over 3 hours, 5 calls and the room phone wasn't working. At least the front desk tried to help but staffing at night is low and makes safety concerning at this location. A horrible experience.”

“Amazing stay! The studio is perfect for daily cooking and appreciate the complimentary breakfast. Vegan options available! It’s very close to Johns Hopkins buildings (public health, nursing, hospital, etc.). The cleaning staff took out garbage and provided towels every two days. You are able to order Amazon and pick up at front desk. All staff were very kind, approachable, and welcoming. Highly recommend. I would stay again!”

“If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, this is a great hotel. It's very nice inside, clean, with great staff. The rooms are spacious, kept clean and with all furnishings in good condition. Tea and coffee in the room, plenty of towels and basic toiletries (soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner). Iron and hairdryer. Adequate curtains and the windows are thick enough to block out the sound of the highway traffic. The lobby is impressively grand for such an affordable hotel, and there's plenty of common space to hang out, with ample electrical outlets. The breakfast corner is easy to find (and it starts at 6:30am!), as are the elevators (there are also fire stairs). Vending machines and ice on the guest floors. Parking lot on the side. It's not the most pedestrian friendly part of the city, but you can walk around safely during the daytime (it didn't feel great at night, and this was reinforced by them making the front door key card access only). It's about 20 minutes' walk down along the highway to the harbor, with Little Italy's restaurants along the way.Easy check in and check out process, no annoying card hold charges.”

“Never have an issue. I've probably stayed in every motel on pulaski and besides the Colonial hotel the carlton is by far the best choice. No bugs no bs my only complaint is they didn't give us no wash clothes. ?”

“Talk about a secret gem. Close enough to the light rail station so that you never truly feel disconnected from the city, but surrounded by greenery and sloping hills. I felt like I was in some romance film, even though I was completely alone! The rooms are decent sized, but there are no mirrors outside of the bathroom and closet door. Also, the bed was much more firm than I had anticipated. Not the worst thing in the world, just reaffirmed how much I need something soft. Mt. Washington Tavern nearby is a great place to grab something to eat!”

“I have stayed here several times over the years, first was for a family member being at John Hopkins. The staff were great, the shuttle service was amazing. Once when the shuttle could not bring me back to the hotel (I forgot the reason) I took a cab and was reimbursed for it! The past 4 times I have stayed there has been for the park and cruise package. Again the service has been amazing, the shuttle is great and the free breakfast has always been good. I just called today to book the package for a cruise in April. (Requested a city view room.. hopefully I get it) its a beautiful view especially at night.Rooms: Rooms have always been clean and the city view side is pretty amazing.Food & drinks: The food and drinks at the Tradewinds restaurant never disappoint.”

“I saw on a couple of the most recent reviews that some are irritated with the hotel open to the general public on their website but later finding out that it's not open to the general public. But I do want to say from my own personal experience that this place is a true God send. It is now used as a women's shelter that goes above and beyond to help you get everything you need help with getting and I mean everything you need to get it for you. I now have a full time job and ready to get promoted to a supervisor. I I was recently approved for rapid re-housing voucher and I go look at 2 two bedroom apartments on Tuesday. Great things are happening for me and I'm starting to enjoy my life, starting to feel like I'm in abetter mood more often, and I'm honestly just sooooooo freaking excited!!!!! They also don't refuse women who have severe mental health issues and they do everything they can to help those women just as much as they help people without mental health is. They treat everyone as an individual and don't look down on any of us or treat ones that need more help than others and treat everyone equal.”

“Ugh it was so dirty. The floors were very dirty and vent in the bathroom was long overdue for a change. It was corroded with dust. Its a far cry from nursery Rd motel 6. I would never stay here again. I left at 330 am bc it was imo disgusting. Hire me as a cleaning lady. I'll clean it up the way it needs to be done”

“A few years back, I had a remote office in Inner Harbor which I would visit once a week yearly. I had lodged at many different hotels in the area depending on how long I was staying in Baltimore. The Hyatt Harbor Hotel was the least I lodged for no apparent reason. The reason we lodged there for our recent visit was because of the price and proximity to Camden Yards. The Hotel is nestled in the heart of downtown. The Inner Harbor hotel offers a doorway to this charming waterfront town. The Hotel has a wonderful pool deck area with refreshments and plenty of comfortable seating. The views are also pleasant from the pool deck area. The Hotel rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“A change from the typical hotel decor, with its Gatsby Era theme. It is located in downtown Baltimore, 4 blocks from the convention center and 2 more for inner Harbor. We checked in later in the evening but was able to get settled in quickly, front desk was quick and helpful. There is valet at the front door, but no valet area. I had to put my hazards on along the road to unload and pass the key to the valet, not quite safe. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I like how the bathrooms actually had tiles instead of the typical bath-fitter plastic some chains have to save money. The room had a fridge, but no microwave.”

“The room was a little dirty. The fan hadn't been cleaned in a while, when I turned it on, dust flew everywhere, but the bed was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby.”
