Boesl Packing Co
2322 Belair Rd, BaltimoreThis may seem odd as a representative of K-9 Kraving that I am leaving a review, HOWEVER, I too, am a customer of K-9 Kraving. Currently, I have 3 furr-kids, all rescues, varying breeds, all different ages. Since joining my pack, they have all been fed K-9 Kraving diets. Abbey is the matriarch of our pack. A 14yo Jack-ChiChi mix. For the most part, Abbey has been an easy keeper over the years; trimming her nails and weight management were our greatest challenges until about 1.5 years ago. Out of nowhere, about every 4 months, Abbey's ears and paws would become infected, and transferring to her mouth from licking/scratching. Each visit & pharma treatment at the DVM was leaving me with a $180 - $200 bill. But more frustrating than the cost was not knowing the WHY it was a reoccurring challenge. Chicken, Beef & Veg (or) Chicken & Veg w/ Mackerel were the standards in our house with only K-9 Kraving dried treats for foraging snacks. One day, as I was creating technical posts for our FB page, I personally focused on the benefits of one of our most under-appreciated diets, Rabbit, Duck & Vegetable. This diet has ant-inflammatory qualities and is also low in cholesterol, excellent for senior canines.....DING, DING, DING!!! For Abbey, I made the connection that older dogs have different needs... We made the switch in January 2023. FFW to today, Abbey is the leanest she has ever been, inflammation & infection free for over 4 months (WOO-HOO) and more active than ever! She is actually playing with toys. I couldn't be happier with the difference the RDV diet has made for her. In Abbey's case, the inflammation was triggering licking and scratching, ultimately resulting in infection. With RDV diet those triggers have been neutralized. Thank you K-9 Kraving!IMAGE 1: Chubby and staining on her paws from licking (6 mos ago)IMAGE 2: In action w/ her 8 yo sister (today)IMAGE 3: Feeling goooood! (today)

Petco
3969 Boston St, Baltimore⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently brought my pet to Petco for grooming, and Hannah did an amazing job! She was patient, gentle, and very professional from start to finish. My pet came out looking clean, fresh, and beautifully groomed — you could tell she put care into every detail.
Hannah also took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure my pet was comfortable throughout the process. Her positive attitude and warm personality made the experience even better. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a groomer who truly loves what she does. We will definitely be coming back! ??

My 9 year old pittie is very dramatic when getting her nails trimmed and was causing it to be hard to get grooming appointments anywhere. Groomery
1619 Sulgrave Ave # 2, BaltimoreBrought my ragdoll cat here after trying to deal with matting on my own for weeks. I was nervous because cats can get overwhelmed quickly, but the groomer moved slowly and kept the environment surprisingly calm. They explained beforehand that some sections might need shorter trimming, which helped manage my expectations. Her fur ended up looking much healthier and softer afterward. The front desk was busy during pickup, though the employees still stayed polite and answered everyone’s questions patiently.

Calm on Command K9
1 E Chase St Suite 1101, BaltimoreI had an adult husky for years before rescuing my boy Domino. I got Domino at 11 months old and thought I’d still be well prepared for the quirks of a husky puppy but WOW. I really needed help to lasso my super rambunctious, silly, psycho young boy. I found Calm on Command K9, had a phone consultation with Rosie and Rj…and the rest is history! We are Calm on Command fans FOR LIFE!!
We probably all know people or “trainers” who rely on fear, punishment, or methods that feel like borderline abuse to achieve a dog’s obedience. I grew up around a lot of this throughout my life, and this view of dog training made me sad and hesitant.
Working with Rosie and Rj has given me so much peace and hope. Their approach JUST MAKES SENSE! They use holistic, functional practices and factor in both the human’s AND dog’s needs which creates a wonderful relationship, just how it should be :)
Domino was a classic example of a puppy growing into teenage rebellion with no structure- impulsive, leash pulling/biting, easily distracted/fixating, no recall, jumping, mouthing, etc. Now we are able to build a life together where he can enjoy freedoms and experiences he never could’ve had otherwise.
Rosie and Rj truly care about each individual dog and human. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.

You Silly Dog, LLC
Paradise Beach Rd, PasadenaAlissa worked with me and my Great Dane puppy over the course of 4 sessions. I was a skeptic at first as he is my 5th Great Dane and I had never used this kind of training method before. Alissa trained me on how.to train my dog. I stuck with it and now I have a very well mannered dog. People always compliment me on how well behaved he is for a 4 1/2 month old puppy. He greets people politely, walks great on the leash, he comes when I call him no matter where he is, leaves things alone when he is told and settles down when I need him to. These are just some of the things we worked on. He's not perfect but we will continue reinforcing good behavior because IT WORKS!.
I can say now, I am a believer!

Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training
2014 NE 107th St, SeattlePaul was outstanding. I couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and patience, and the value we got from our session.
We covered everything: crate training, biting, basic commands, how to handle public outings, and even different games to keep our dog engaged. Every question we had, he answered with clear, practical advice and real examples that actually made it stick.
I’ve had dogs my entire life, and I still learned a ton from Paul. That alone says a lot.
He’s worth every penny. We’ll absolutely be working with him again, and it genuinely feels like we’ve found not just a trainer, but someone we trust for the long haul. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Denise Willis Dog Training
BaltimoreI adopted a teenage puppy who had lots of leash reactivity and lots of pulling. Denise was the 2nd trainer we worked with and since working with Denise, he's made huge progress! He would lunge and bark at everything from a cart to a recycle bin to a tall branch hanging over the fence. After determining the right tool that worked for me and him, and working through some of my own anxieties with him, I feel more confident walking him and he is much easier to handle. Me and him still have work to do, (practice makes perfect!) but I feel like I can breath when I take him out of my house and I no longer worry about the big feelings and reactivity that he had towards any and everything. Thanks to Denise, my teenage puppy might just make it to his humans sports events one day!

Reys Roof LLC
1011 N Washington St, BaltimoreI moved to the area with my dog about two years ago, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Rey. From day one, he has been incredibly reliable, flexible, and accommodating—often making last-minute adjustments to Sosa’s stays to help with my hectic schedule.
What really sets Rey apart is how thoughtful he is. He’s sent Sosa home with homemade treats and even made him feel extra special on his birthday. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after.
Sosa can be a bit anxious around strangers (and in general), but Rey immediately put both of us at ease. His experience really shows in the way he handles Sosa’s quirks with patience and confidence. Now, Rey is one of Sosa’s favorite people—I always joke that he’s so happy there, he might not even want to come home!
I truly haven’t considered trusting anyone else with my dog. Rey has been such a blessing, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

They immediately resized his collar, gave us a few tips and recommended we join the beginner obedience class. I was nervous for the classes due to his reactivity but the trainers were patient and encouraging every step of the way. We now enjoy walks, his reactivity is to a minimum and I am not nervous when other dogs get too close. Big shout out to the team, Casey, Angela, Jacob and Zach who all shared in our adventure. My dog is so much more well behaved now, I have way more control and I definitely was trained to be a much better leader for my dog. Corner Juice Bar
2400 Fleet St, BaltimoreCorner Juice Bar is a bright, health-focused little oasis in Baltimore that I’d happily recommend for a refreshing break from heavier eateries. It’s known for its fresh, made-to-order juices, smoothies, and acai bowls that really lean into vibrant flavors and quality ingredients. Many locals rave about specialties like the Total Body Reboot and other nutrient-packed blends, and they even offer ginger and wheatgrass shots if you want an extra boost.
The vibe is cozy and welcoming, with greenery, fun decor, and friendly staff who often greet you with complimentary ginger tea — which just adds to the relaxed, feel-good atmosphere. While it’s definitely oriented toward health-minded eats, even casual visitors tend to enjoy the bold, fresh flavor combinations and generous portions.
Overall: A charming, feel-good spot for fresh juices, smoothies, and healthy snacks — perfect for breakfast, a post-workout treat, or a light, refreshing lunch in Baltimore.

We found a dog park slightly south of Baltimore, but one side had overly friendly dogs and one side had a Very Unfriendly dog, so we had to move on. I had not been to the Canton Dog Park before, but found it quite easily and there was ample parking available. The "small/senior" dog side was empty, so we went in and stayed for probably 20 minutes playing and enjoying the freedom outside of the car. The humans on the other side were friendly and helpful, pointing out that we could run to the pub across the street for human facilities, too. I love to see this area being built up and turned into a well-lit, friendly neighborhood.
